How did I receive 1.2 giveaways?

There is apparently a group from which I have received 1.2 ($8.99) in gifts. Why would two gifts not count as 2.0 gifts?

Ah thanks, this makes perfect sense, because one giveaway contained 1 group and another 5 groups.

This also explains why I only sent "1.0" gift to a group where I actually made two giveaways that both contained 2 groups.
