RPG and FPS, combines into FALLOUT (3, or NV, not played the latter, but given it should be like 3, it should also be a great game)!
No seriously, go and buy fallout, or STALKER, I think those are great games (STALKER more towards the FPS end of it, Fallout more towards the RPG end of it).

This is actually one I am already planning on getting, nice to see two suggestions already though, solidifies my choice. Question though, I see it "suggests" a controller for it, but how good/bad is the keyboard controls, as I don'w own a controller for the pc.

Some people really like the K+M, but it doesnt feel natural at all to me. You really have to stick at it to get used to it. With a gamepad though, the controls are brilliant straight from the get-go.

bought it some time ago, haven't spent as much time on it as others, I see it's potential, just apparently not into the whole minecraft type scene

since im an 80ies kid and love the whole sidescroller-2d look in games, and in general loved minecraft, this is like a perfect match for me. but i see why people are not so bumped about it as i am :)

Alternatively, if you're looking for a current deal: I see you've played a lot of Borderlands 2... so Borderlands 1 maybe? It's part of one of the Amazon deals and bundled with The Darkness 2 which is also a very nice shooter. Or maybe the BioShock Dual Pack which is very cheap for BioShock 1 and 2. :)

I'll have to have a look at Giana Sisters. As for Borderlands, it may not be in my steam list but I played the heck out of it on the xbox 360. The Darkness did look interesting, I'll have to have a look at that as well. thanks :)
