Well, i think it's not a bad result, i born in early 90s and don't have much time to play videogames. Love OSTs from 90s, still sounds amazing. Thanks for great quiz and especially 4 track from part 4, so much good memories, one of my favorite soundtracks ever.

I haven't had much time for SG the past few days, sorry for the delay. Hints have been added to the 3 hardest skill levels. Hopefully they help a bit, though I may add more.
Also, my appreciation to those who have put in an effort on this challenging quiz. I've taken down a few usernames of people who have attempted the questions and provided feedback, and perhaps I'll find a use for those names in the future.

All, but Q2 weren't too easy, but plausible.
But Q2 - I'm stuck... It's even more annoying, that it seems to me I've played the thing and moreover, Q2 wasn't even on your list of questions you haven't guessed (I assume it was the first one you got correct, then).
But I'm currently desperately stuck on it and I don't get the hints at all :(

Oh man, the Nightmare level seems to be the easiest, I can easily get half of it.

It sounds like you've played a lot of the games and have a good memory for sound?
I found it's not easy to give hints for a music quiz. It's supposed to be about sound recognition, but unless you add more tracks (which I don't have the time to do) it's back to game related trivia (which can be googled) that will help at least a couple people. Plus forum members definitely have varying experience with these games as would be expected. I am content with the hints I added, and as for easy... all of the puzzles have less than a 1 in 4 player completion rate so I would hold that this is a challenging quiz, as intended this time.

I really do enjoy the quizzes, so at least hoping there will be many more =)
Oh, and I admit there where a few cases where the hints where that good that I answered wihout even listening xD

It's one thing to get stuck on a question you don't know the content of, but getting questions wrong because of the syntax... that's just bloody annoying :) I really try to avoid it!

UPDATE 7/2 And it's over! Congratulations to those who solved any of the quizzes, since the vast majority of people who attempted them did not. This was an intentionally challenging quiz, my next will be easier to make up for it. Hopefully some of you enjoyed moments of nostalgia listening to some of these classic tracks. My Summer Sale might have made a couple of you like me, but now I'm going to make many of you hate me. I won't tell you that this quiz is easy (like certain addicts do), because the higher skill levels will be challenging for most people.
