Hello,
I found in amazon.com Alice: Madness Returns at $7,50. I'm interested in this game, but I'm not sure about buy it for Origin. Is a special edition with the old Alice game and DLC. Also, in my region, Steam has a very high price for this game (49.90€). Is a good choice buy now? Must I wait to the christmas sales and buy it to a russian trader? So many doubts...

Thanks!

yes, though you can get a american or such to buy it for cheaper on sale, if you plan to play now, its worthwhile to get it
only $2.50 savings if you wait "who knows how long"

If you want the original game as well you have to buy it on Origin. The Steam version doesn't have any of the preorder DLC.

The DLC can be obtained in the Steam version by editing a config file. No luck about the original Alice game, though. And obviously the European price on Steam is insane.

Yeah I know about the config hack but the original game only came with the Origin copy. It's a better deal to get that as well rather than buying it on Steam and having to hack in some dresses and stuff.

The DLC hack is really a harmless, 10 seconds job. It's a pity about the original game, but not enough reason to buy on Origin, as far as I am concerned.

Steam will probably never change the price for this.
If you get a steam version you can redeem the game on origin too.
Origin itself is more likely to reduce the price on sales.
You can unlock the DLC on the normal game but the first game will not work.
The first game is the better one so $7,50 for both is cheap enough imo.

Madness Returns has repeatedly been on sale on Steam, I think at 75% off. But particularly with an EA game, you can't really trust that it will go on sale again.

You should trade this game in Steamtrades or tf2outpost. Its cheaper.

It has been at 5$ quite often, maybe even less, on the American side. I suggest you wait and trade for it. 50 euros for that is a steal. Though if you really really want it, 7,50$ ain't so bad (I've bought a couple of games I really wanted at higher prices and never regretted it).

Lowest Price: 9,99€ at Origin PC
Historical Low: 3,00€ at Origin PC on Fri Jul 19 2013

3€ doesn't seem like it was a bad deal.. then a gain it's Origin.
I'd rather buy it for 10 bucks on Steam than getting it "for free" on Origin.

You only need to install it through Origin. You can start it anytime, even when Origin is not loaded on your system ;)

Well the only suggestion I can say is that the first Alice is way better

It has been as low as $5 on Steam before. Just wait it out for the price you want on the platform you want it on. The levels overstay their welcome so this isnt a game you need to rush to buy.

What I can say is that if you buy it on Steam you will not receive a copy of the first one as you should
And Madness Returns is a good game
