It is indeed against the rules to give the game you won to someone else. Can't you Linux users play Windows games using Wine?

Activate it, or request the gifter to reroll stating you can't play it on your Linux system. NEVER give games you won to other people. All wins must be activated on your account.

What Delta said. If you can't play it, give another entrant a shot. Contact the GA creator and tell him you're OK with a re-roll. Don't use the key or mark it as received if you do this.

Why are you thinking short term? Your Steam account stays with you as long as you live and it is not a rule that you continue using Linux 5-10 years from now. Activate the game and move on but beware this will happen often since Steam offers at the moment 1600 titles out of 9500 for Linux.

activate it and try to run it with playonlinux. If not, wait for a port. Next time check that the game is on linux and stop being greedy.

Like other said, try it with Wine. And report to Wine AppDB because the data there about the game is very old. The original FATE seems to play perfectly well using Wine (according to Wine AppDB), so there's a good chance that this does too.

You must activate the game , even if you cannot play it .
Giving it to a friend is against the rules , will mostlikely suspend you . and will absolutely prevent you from ever joining a SGTools giveaway .
Also prepare to get blacklistead , alot .
