You mean it is the current Weekend game, don't call it free, as that will have people thinking it is like the free Portal, which you got to keep.

its because this site is too retarded to temporary add it on exception list where anyone should be able to join it except

those who had own this game b4 this free weekend are not eligible to join.

I already told u the solution.

  1. Add the game as exception list. So everyone can join but...(see below)
  2. Anyone who own this game b4 today is not allow to join (I am positive steamgift have no trouble archive this)
  3. Anyone who won any this game giveaway during this 2 week is not allow to rejoin unless the giveaway is fake/rerolled.

So then this site would need to start keeping a database of when games appear on our accounts, just so a few people would have extra chances for free games. Extra work and stress on the site for not much point.

Its more than just that, because it will need to do checks during times of free games, it will be another problem for people who normally keep private (only going public for updates once a week), and you don't seem to understand this.

Added effort for the system, and only to stop a few people from complaining about how they can't win free games. Not important. Boohoo for them.

the sales of some games @ cheap price generate giveaways probably take up more bandwidth than these checks.

People who keep their profile private are automatically rejected. pretty simple

Its unneeded. It is still extra work and extra strain to allow a few *****ing jerks entry to one more game during weekends. They still have piles of other games to enter for, and if they really want that game, they had a much better chance to get it when it was heavily discounted during the weekend.

I'm going to assume the version with all DLCs? Currently in an Indie Gala bundle with some other games for under $6, though without most DLCs.

The game itself is actually rather shortish, with the time given you should have more than enough to complete the game with a friend, depending on how long it takes you to do so and how much screwing around you do.
