It's not remembering my filter settings. EG I have Legend of Grimrock, but that's still visible on the list, but ignoring it only ignores it for that session. Same for Breath of Death pack.
Any way you could make a sort order option of "newest first"? That way you can have a quick look at what's been added since your last visit.
But absolutely brilliant nonetheless. :D

one small suggestion though, maybe you could implement a little checkbox beside each giveaway, and if you check the checkbox, all giveaways of that game will be hidden from you (and then you can unhide the games from somewhere else?) :)

I have a suggestion, if you ever have time:
In 'View replies' when you click on a reply it sends you directly to that thread. By clicking on a link to a thread in the forum you get taken to the most recent page, 31337. It would be helpful for the replies to also function like this.
When I enter a thread through the Replies page, the endless scrolling breaks the thread.

Yes, it would be awesome to have consistency across the site. Unfortunately, I am kept really busy for some time now. Even my steam rating is nonexistent.
Nonetheless, if anyone is interested in improving the addon by providing patches then by all means, get in touch. The source is available at the google repository and can be checked out or review by anyone. Some starting points could be the open issues (in Gcode repository), improving forum options for endless scroll or any feature that would be useful for people.
Keep in mind, I will be reviewing said patches before they get to users. Also, If there is any major changes in how the addon is handled and maintained users will get informed prior.

Possible bug report:
Not sure why, but the gremlins never finish fetching in this particular thread, and the newest posts never show up on top. I shows posts three days older than current, and never loads.

hey, i don't know if this has already been mentioned, but is there any chance, on an update, add a button much like the group one. which hides any giveaways with "already exists in your account"? is that possible? thanks :)

yes, i use that often. but if i accidentally click ignore on the wrong thing, i have to start from scratch. i just think a full extra tab with this new filter would be more helpful.

This might sound like a stupid question but how do i create custome bookmarks in IE9, I looked under every menu but coul not find anything :S, I also tried to copy/past ot into the URL when i visited steamgifts.com but no luck :(

Temporarily set it to ignore, you can always remove that setting later just don't forget to change it back :) It isn't really a good solution, especially when the contributor thing goes live and that game name is constantly changing but at least it'll stop annoying you for now.

I have a suggestion for an added feature, maybe an optional addition or something.
Can we get something that can highlight giveaways already reported? Since there is a function that highlights wishlisted giveaways in green, I assume a simple copy+paste, a change of color selection, and a slight modification to the script would be all thats needed. Im thinking red perhaps?
OR/and how about a feature to ignore specific giveaways, instead of a collection/group of them. For example, if we hit ignore now, we filter out all the "Binding of Isac" giveaways. Maybe an X on the side next to the user avatar?

I doubt either of them are feasible. To find out if you have reported a giveaway, he would have to download every giveaway page which would consume a lot of time on the client side. It would just slow down your system.
For the second do you want to ignore just one exact giveaway? Made by one person at a certain time? If so you have to store client side a list of all these giveaways. It could be done in the same way Kait's script remembers threads. I just doubt it a little.
Anyway it's up to Zo to decide these things.

I suppose what PPG is getting at for the first one is that hitting the report button could maybe set a cookie that will then remind your browser to highlight the particular box around the concerned giveaway URL. Alternatively, add a button next to "Ignore" to mark the giveaway as reported. But that is more cosmetic than really necessary, so I don't think it is worth the effort. Same with the second one, it's not really a convenient feature that everyone would actually use I reckon.

Thats why it was more of an optional addition to the current scripts because I know that only a few people would actually have a reason to use it. I go through the entire active giveaway list and report report report so its knackering when I come across one I already hit, or I miss some because I thought I got them.
