Most (if not all) keys from G2A come from other users of the website that put them up for sale. You can select the person you are buying the key from - if you select a seller with a high amount of successful transactions, you should be fine.

There are a few ways, they could have gotten the game as a gift from someone, and are selling instead of using, or on a promotion, for example.
