If the adapter works with emulators then it should work just as good with normal games. Though be aware of the DirectInput/XInput API differences - you will probably need an additional program to use the controllers in newer games that use the XInput API.

If a game doesn't support your gamepad, you always can use a software like Xpadder to fix that.

Bought Lego Batman 2 from Amazon during their recent sale, but I've been neglecting it due to the PC controls being horrendous, and my off-brand windows 360 controller is shot. Then I remembered I have 4 GameCube controllers lying around gathering dust, so I started looking for possible adapters. I found several, but it seems most people use them for emulators on their PCs. I was wondering if one would work well for Lego Batman 2, considering Lego Star Wars played quite well on the GC.
Anyway, I found this one that looks promising enough [and would save me a ton of money, rather than buying 2 360 controllers for co op and such], just wondering how well it functions. One review said it treats the triggers as buttons, but he also said when he contacted the company they told him a new version was released that fixed the problem but it wasn't really clear. Anyone have any experience with this? Also, how well would this work with other games such as Dark Souls, Kingdoms of Amalur, etc...?
