Activated 5, on the fence with one, owned one. Huge win in my book.
(And to consider I was on the verge of buying Boltgun three? days ago...)

This is why I should wait to buy games.

Last time Havendock was on sale, I bought it... but have I played it yet? Of course not!

Thanks for the thread!

Why does IGN think everyone on steam is in love with Warhammer? I swear they have one in every bundle. Easiest skip of the year for me.

Boltgun is a special case. I think it appeals to the boomer shooter crowd more than the Warhammer one. I haven't played a single Warhammer game but I've had my eye on boltgun for a while cuz it's supposed to be a good boomer shooter so it's the highlight of the bundle for me.

Because everyone on Steam is pretty much in love with Warhammer.

And because Warhammer as too many titles spread between a dozen of genres.

Well, that means I'm pausing.

The coupon ended on Jun 3 at 10 am. It started in Dec, but some people still had a sub month left or didn't want to get December, so they started using the coupon in January, but the time was already running down so they basically lost the offer to redeem the month of December using the coupon. It was a coupon for the months of Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, and May. Confusing but yeah they did say Jun 3 at 10 am. I assumed they maybe would've let people redeem the bundle then June 4 cancel the coupon.

Nobody Wants to Die was a super cool game. It's worth being a highlight of this bundle.

For me, I of course already played NWtD and I own both Havendock and Biped.

From the rest, I would like to play Hinterberg and am interested in trying out LoK. Warhammer, I have zero interest in. Same with Sker.

Tchia looks nice, but I could take it or leave it now that I'm really looking at everything.

This might be a skip for me. Haven't decided yet. First Choice in a while where it felt pretty meh based on my gaming preferences.

People are too harsh on these bundles man... Maybe I am biased [though I'll follow up with a market insight] but the last two months were incredibly solid and this is straight worth a purchase. It has that old Humble spirit. They gave up on hidden gems to give EA keys for whatever reasons but beyond that, we got 1000xRESIST, Dredge, Thaumaturge etc. which were some of the well-received and most talked indies.

This month has LoK. I know it's old but it's an absolute classic. I don't know much about Nobody Wants To Die and can't tell if it's pleasing beyond aesthetics but I can tell it's incredibly popular right now. Boltgun is also one of the better Warhammer games let alone being a great boomer shoter. On top of those you still get Hinterberg -which looks cool and a solid crew game as well as some cozy/management games. It has variety, popularity of the stuff just alright (only Biped lacks popularity because it was bundled multiple times before).

I think this whole ''bad month'' narrative is tired. I can't say this alone justifies the price increase in EU though but considering a bunch of people were able to cash in on their annual discounts, I think it's good enough.

I kind of like IGN Plus, but the handling of coupons each month is apparently going to be a PITA. I had to cancel renewal and now wiat for it to expire and hope I can use the code then. Simply clicking on the month plan does not apparently work when you are already in it.

that really needs to be made easier or noone will use the coupon and the value of the choice package is diminished which in light of the price hike is not ideal...

Is there anything to get on ign plus atm? I just went there and there's nothing but dust and chances at giveaways like concert tickets and tshirts and a steam deck, most of which aren't even ignplus? I think only the steam deck one is ign plus. I got a coupon from last months or before and I have nothing to use it on other than activate it and let it expire I guess?

I am mainly just using it for the interactive maps... not a huge gain in getting to use the checklist option, but since it was already part of the choice pack ir was a nice add I wouldn't likely pay outright for. Better using it when I paid for it than not I guess? ::shrug::

One of the worst Bundle Choices I saw... Main game, I guess the warhammer, is 5$ on kinguin and gamivo... and others fells like they are from 1999 (Legacy of Kain™ Soul Reaver 1&2)

You're talking about grey market sites, which I wont use directly unless it's for a game that can't be obtained any other way (delisted titles). Too many scumbags selling keys they got with stolen credit cards and such.

Also, out of curiosity I just looked up the games on grey market sites from this bundle, and all the games I grabbed from it combined would still cost more then just buying the bundle the legitimate way.

Yeah people make it a business to buy the bundles and sell them for a profit, not even having to worry about stolen credit cards. Across the board every single bundle were you to buy the keys from resellers on grey markets will end up slightly more expensive because they buy them to make a profit. Since the prices are actually pretty realistic, I don't think it's credit card fraud, just individual users looking to make some profit, and reseller sites facilitate that, like an ebay since humble, fanatical and indiegala don't let you resell your keys on their platform. They buy the bundle for $12 sell it for $25 separating titles. I'm sure there's some bad actors but gotta remember, even humble, fanatical and indiegala got called out by devs for screwing them over in various ways, not just g2a or some reseller.

Only good reasons to use a reseller is like you said if it's delisted or you just want one or two titles. It does seem that ggdeals is reporting incorrect prices atm, as it's probably slow updating the prices as they're dropping, currently all games from this bundle show more there than they are on resellers by sometimes 50 cents to $2 per game. It still wouldn't matter, as it's still more expensive than the bundle itself to get legacy of kain, nobody wants to die and boltgun together atm.

I agree, it's not really worth buying from the grey market unless there's only one or two games you want from a bundle. It's actually more efficient to buy your own bundle and sell off the games you don't want for maximum profit, but this is time consuming. It's basically what the grey market resellers are doing.

If there are too many repeats or the value of the games I need to sell off are too low I'll just buy from a grey market seller cuz it's more convenient, but most of the time you're getting the best possible price directly from the bundle site.

Every way is legitimate unless its stolen but that can happen with anything in life tbh... In over 5 years of collecting games(managed to get 1k+) had no issues with any market know to mankind, so dont listen to guys who are paid to say "oh you should only buy games from xx and xx all other are scams blah blah"
Dont believe me? My steam is linked to my profile...

Oh, there we have the new classic "They must get paid if they disagree with me in public". Nice try suggesting that everyone else must be corrupt, while the one trying to lure people to grey markets is the noble and uncorruptible mind. 🥱

I played Tchia on PS+ and Dungeons of Hinterberg on Gamepass and didn't care for either. Boltgun (Epic & PS+ monthly game) and Soul Reaver I already own. I want Nobody Wants to Die and Sker Ritual but not worth wasting a month for just those two.

I'd pick it up if I didn't own Boltgun or Soul Reaver but since I don't want Biped or Havendock, it's a pass for me and save a month from my sub for next time.
