When I look at my statistics I can't help but wonder. When I've givenaway 29 games I've won ~9, almost 1 per day. Now I have nothing to give and haven't won anything since over a month.

As far as I know, giving games away has nothing to do with winning. Its pure random luck who gets to win a giveaway. Sometimes I enter over 50 giveaways of the same game and dont win. Sometimes I enter one giveaway of another game and win first time. That's the way it goes. Just keep entering and your luck will change hopefully!

I won nothing between October 2016 and February 2017 (4 months) while I gave over 30 games.
I won late December 2017 after giving nothing for 2 months.

I've also observed this happening but I'm pretty sure it's just karma, or more likely our own minds struggling to properly understand randomness and coming up with conspiranoid theories to make sense of something completely unpredictable.

By the way, I am not bitching about my bad luck :) I am just curious if anyone else noticed such correlation. To be honest I believe too that it's just a coincidence.

There are users with hundreds of wins and almost no giveaways. I know of someone that only sent 10 games and has over 900 wins. The sad part is that the user doesn't touch the games, not even to farm for cards. I don't agree with people who collect games to farm cards, but just collecting for the sake of collecting and never touching them is even worse.

If what you ask would be true, I'd be rolling in won games. :P There was also a level 10 user infamous for never winning anything for years, therefore having a nice infinite ratio despite the high level.

Higher lvl = less entries giveaways = more % chances but only that. Each user who enter GA has equal chance to win.

I've noticed that when I create a lot of giveaways I also win a lot of games. As I don't believe in karma I suspect that chance of winning may be corelated with the number of recently givenaway games. I am right?
