I think perhaps they take the list of whatever (mostly) shovelware they can get and then throw darts at it to choose.

I disagree. I don't think Groupees gets shovelware often. Most of their picks are great.

I think this I'll pass on this one... I played My Bones and sorry to say that, but it was complete shit. Weird grammar (Sometimes almost unreadable), boring "gameplay", uninspired story, bad performance and a non-existent UI/Menu. Not worth it at all.

My guess is the bundle will have at least one more game from the same dev if not all the 4 games from him.

because on some bundles groupess make a deal with the same dev to do a bundle.
And it happens more with the build a greenlight.
It's easier to deal with one dev or two to make a bundle or one publisher than dealing with multiple devs to make a bundle.
But even if the 4 games are those, there's still another two games that could make the bundle better.

Unfortunately, the first game wasn't even released for PC, just Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
I played the second and loved it. A great psychological thriller, trully remarkable, even being an average shooter itself with a few gimmicks at best.

I have The Darkness II on Steam but don't want to play it until I have the chance to play #1 first. And I don't own a PS3, don't want to ever own any systems from the Xbox series.
