Seeing all those Shadowgrounds giveaways made me dizzy. Its too bad people take advantage of others generosity.

Now being a contributor is useless? with hundreds of fake contributors? good joke.

They'd probably still have keys, and still be running for people who actually want the game, if it wasn't for people playing for hours on end to win copies just for contribution.

I have no problem with contribution, but I do have a problem with the things it causes certain people to do.

Happened to the coal during the winter sale too. I assume that is why there is no contests for this summer sale.

After an entire day of having no luck at all with the slots, my last ten spins before it stopped got me every prize minus the normal Trine 2 coupon. :D

Makes me sad because once I became a contributor people abused it. I hope all these people loose the contributor status they got from it.

This explains why there was so many keys available today. I was running around today so I wasn't able to do any research. I entered a bunch of the giveaways on steamgifts but no luck so far. Hopefully soon :)

everyone tried to get many keys i think. i played up to 100 spins and got 1 shadowgrounds, 2 trine 2 CE 75% off keys and one trine 1 75% off key. i have both games on steam because of an indie bundle, the extra key goes to a friend i think but not here.
i guess this summer seal was an advertize for frozenbyte. grab one or both shadowground keys and get a discount for their core game: trine. even though it was possible to get unlimited spins it doesnt mean we didnt abuse this thing. and when i see there were over 200 giveaways of no-paid keys i must say: yes there was an abuse. for some time the site wasn't available. i'm sure frozenbyte stopped it now. and as i can see lots of people took half of the day to get as many keys as possible to make several giveaways.

Why not just make Steamgifts function differently? Why not have it so you can only open giveaways with items in your steam inventory? I can imagine that solving multiple issues about the "abuse" of these keys since it's such an important matter. Honestly I would rather have a community giving out the extra keys rather than hoarding them or trading them but that's just me. I find it annoying how people obsess and go mad over something as stupid as this.

I normally don't have a problem with this but today people just overkilled it.

There should be an option on the site for people to block games that often appear on here that they have no interest in entering. That way you could just block Shadowgrounds and not have to scroll through pages and pages on contributions.

Yeah, no kidding they were abused greatly. Frozenbyte seems to have slept through the Coal debacle. I really wonder what they were expecing to happen. But it was a fun idea, at least, just ruined by people who expect everything for free and weren't taught not to be greedy.

I apparently won the games, but I never got the keys, whereas you can see the same people here posting about 6 of each XD
