Take that, USA! No Offense intended

I hope you do have a great evening. Also, here's the GA: Clicky-dicky here!

Best regards from Germany, in which it's around 9 PM rn

I like burgers the way they are meant to be.
Wait, hamburgers are a German invention?
Sorry dude, but pickles on my burgers don't float my boat.

What annoys me is some people calling the minced meat patty hamburger like it didn't involve the bun and other stuff as well. Same with hot dogs, it's not just the wiener but the whole thing. Makes as much sense as calling any random topping you can use pizza.

Reminds me of an incident when I ate at an University Canteen. The Stall Owner, stubbornly and Specifically wanted me to read Chicken Franks as sausages rather than the common term "Hotdog" that I am so used to. He pretended not to hear at 1st, then pretended not to know, after then he corrected me and it went on for a few minutes. Only after I call it Sausage then he sold me my plate of Mushroom Sauce Spaghetti! Dang Him! If only his Spaghetti weren't so tasty :( . . . I . . . I would have thrown my middle finger sausage at him! XD

I still savor the taste of his spaghetti to today. I guess its well done and really suits my taste and good portion too. I am not sure if its his pride or confidence as a chef for him to be arrogant then. He practically had my waist belt in his hands. Hahaha

Actually Belgium fries tend to be bigger.

It's just because of the metric system.

True. Bigger and fluffier. Although fries found in France (not as "French" fries) come in many sizes.

Most good deep-dish is made by Italians, in my experience. xD

Just saying, if you go to Chi-town for a proper Chicago deep-dish, chances are it'll be from a family-owned Italian-American restaurant in Little Italy.

I was being facetious but I do get what you meant.
In my experience though, a lot of "American-X" cuisine is very different from its origins. See American-Chinese food (just ask anyone in China about General Tso or Chop suey and they'll look at you like you came from Mars) but that doesn't mean it's not good.

Most definitely. My first experience with that was trying authentic home-made Mexican food when I was working at a canning plant during summers in college (the older women were constantly feeding me to bribe me into marrying their daughters lmao). I was shocked at the lack of spice they used (or very little, just enough to taste), after being used to Americanized Mexican food just being spiced to death. After that, I stopped eating Mexican food unless it was authentic. Fortunately, there's a great place right behind where I live and another across the street from them. xD

It'd be hard for Chicago style pizza to be called "Americanized", though, since ... well ... it's Chicago style. :P (and yes, I knew you were kidding around lol).

Heh lucky you. I've been fed all over the place but never by anyone trying to bribe me into marrying their daughters. Boo.
Yeah I don't get how incredibly spicy most food is these days. It's like they are deliberately trying to mask any leftover flavor (or hiding the fact there isn't any?) and it's definitely true of the food from most of Latin America, and the middle East.
Tex-mex is a bit of an insult to Mexican food lol but chili sometimes makes up for it, if it's well made.

I do like a deep dish pizza though. I just don't put it in the same category as pizza but it's comfort food and it works.

No we don't have Pizza Hut in the Netherlands (i think), so let alone a commercial for it.
Domino Pizza's commercials are different, so could have been New York Pizza maybe (or Dr Oetker's).

Burgers eh ?
Beef patty, lettuce, tomato & onion as extra topping, ketchup & mustard for sauce.
Whole-grain bun preferred, because I'm weird and don't really like white bread.
Also, with optional fried egg instead of the more common cheese or bacon

Think of it as being similar to hot and sour, or sweet and sour, or the like.

You really should try it... The combination does some interesting things to your taste buds!

Yeah "homemade" is a broad term really. As long as it's not processed food, it can be home-made by other people lol.
As for pizza, sure why not? There are pizze in Italy without tomato base so it qualifies! And it does sound awesome.

Yep I've had Oshaar and I can confirm it's highly addictive. You're in Yemen, yes? It's kinda similar to Moroccan preserved lemons but more like a condiment and with lots of garlic and some chili, and spices if that was what I had (on meat and rice, and then on more rice, oh and just give me some flat bread to dip it in, that'll do lol)
I think the black thingies are nigella seeds. Kinda bitter oniony seeds.

A fluffy bun, a thick beef patty (with onion and garlic in there please) grilled to perfection, bacon and good melty cheese, NOT "American" (the jello kinda that melts when you look at it and vaguely tastes like salt). Homemade pickle on the side.

I like pickles on a burger, sometimes. A lot more than I like tomato and lettuce on them, in fact. But I eat burgers all sorts of ways. Swiss and button mushroom with Worcestershire sauce, cheddar and pickles and onions with ketchup and mustard, shiitake and hoisin sauce and miso mayo, feta and tzatziki sauce, fontina and aioli, pineapple and soy sauce.
