When my sister visted after living in Australia for a few years she introduced me to the idea of using pickled beetroot instead of pickled gherkins, which is a big trend in Oz. It might sound odd, but having tried it I wouldn't go back, it's actually a huge improvement.

Yeah, sweet pickled beetroot is an Aussie thing that does seem to work better in hamburgers than people assume it would. However, you want to be careful how you eat and what you wear or you'll have to explain the pink stains on your clothes (unless you visit Australia - we know what they are here).

I like my burgers the way the Chef wants to represent, though most of the time I only ate Fastfood burgers. If there's anything I do not like then I might remove it, generally I do not unless something taste funny. I eat all the pickles, greens, etc.
Do you like Pineapples on Pizza? Personally, I like it, I do live in a region where its abundance and eats it frequently as a fruit itself. Pineapples provides the body with lots of goodness even detox our body of course not much when you add it in a pile of meat/flour XD When the pineapple is heated like on the pizza, it releases more pungent and it tastes sweeter than when its raw. Same goes to many fruits and vegetables. They act like natural sweeteners so there's no need for additional sugar added.
