How do you feel about the game being cancelled?
So they axed it because "2017 is already a packed year" with 4-5 new exclusives ?
I guess they consider starting a new IP the biggest risk. But why not delay it until 2018 instead, securing at least one exclusive for the next year ? Or keep it in reserve in case one of the other titles flops ?
Would finishing it up really cost that much extra that it's better to completely write off the project (which has been in development since 2013), instead of investing a bit more and having a fair chance at recovering at least some of the costs incurred ?

Is this supposed to be ironic? Stopped at 10 seconds lol

I was looking forward to it. :/
I guess this is the news they were holding off until this year.

Kotaku put out an article today stating the game was most likely cancelled, and then Microsoft replied saying "We'll have more to share on Scalebound soon." Shortly after Eurogamer says it's over. Thoughts on this?
I was excited for it when it was announced although didn't ever attend on buying an Xbone. Although when gameplay came out, I kinda lost interest. Trailers for the game looked rough. But I was interested again when last year they announced it was coming to PC.
Also on a related note. Some people are worried that Platinum might be in trouble since this game was axed, and Activision might be done working with Platinum on licensed games.
Update: It's confirmed
