I think the humble bundle is an axcellent idead and for those complaining about paying bta for extra games remember the money is for charity have a heart and stop complaining the bundles are a bonus for giving to charity i myself have bought multiple bundles and have gladly paid BTA before the bonus games are revealed good in ya HUMBLE for Making a great way for people who want to donate to charity and get a bonus of playing awesome games.

They are giving you four amazing games for $1 and two more amazing games if you pay a BTA that is way below the bonus games RRP, with BONUS games as a BONUS for meeting the BTA. So sick of people acting like being humble should include letting people take the piss with how much they pay for things.

I BTA'd hoping for Gunpoint and some other sweets. Didn't pay off for me either. I won't be BTA'ing anymore now, I wish they'd just go back to the old model because that made me happier lol. If they keep it at it I'll just wait and raise my price later instead of early on. Lesson learned.

Not very excited about the new bonus games, wasn't worth draining my paypal account to BTA =/. The only reason I rushed it was because I grabbed the bundle before the average reached $4.
In my opinion, any game that's been in one of the bundles before should not be hyped up as a second week game especially now that they convince you to BTA by saying additional games will be added for BTA only.

There was nothing forcing you not to wait for second week and decide if you wanted to BTA or not then.. or simply to pay under BTA and still have the option to add on your purchase if you're interested in the bonuses. It's a common thing that they add previous bundle games as bonuses.. and they added 4 games.. 2 new ones and 2 old ones.

I find it really annoying....I think this is one of the best bundles ever but the only games I don't own are FTL, Eets, Brutal Legend, Rocketbirds and Virus. Is it just me or is it not worth it for just those? =/ The only ones I find slightly interesting are Brutal Legend and maybe FTL but I'm afraid Legend isn't that great and I'm honestly not that into FTL despite it's popularity. What do you guys think?

Many people like those games, some people don't. Watch a few Let's Plays or read reviews, then decide for yourself. That's what I would do. What does it matter to you if a random forum person says game A is great or game A is bad? He/she may have a completely different taste than you.

Brutal Legend is quite fun; it's also in the "Under Average" so you can get it for $1 if you want to spend less.
FTL is a lot of fun but it's not for everyone. I would recommend it, but if you're short on cash you could skip it.

Somehow I guessed that A Virus Named Tom would be a bonus hours before it was added. Also I'm pretty happy that Bastion is in the bundle despite already owning it as I was searching for the soundtrack and had missed the Weekly Sale. Rocketbirds is another game I've been wanting to play but I am slightly disappointed about Limbo, but I'm sure there are plenty of people who'd appreciate it being included. Overall, a nice BTA, and a very good bundle overall, too bad the only things I didn't already own were Brutal Legend, A Virus Named Tom and Rocketbirds.

And it used to be that way. Though, it was stated in the info box under the list of games (the one with "Pay what you want", "Support Charity", "Unlock on Steam") that bonus games would be included for those who payed above the average. I don't know what brought this change though.

They are trying to find ways to get the average a tad higher, I can't blame them, because the low averages is scaring away developers :/
From an email I got from them about the earlier "all time average fixed tier" While this bundle does not use the the fixed average tier, I think this is still them experimenting to raise the average.
"The set prices for BTA content is an experiment we are trying out. Due to the low averages of our previous bundles (way below expectations) it is difficult for us to convince developers to partner with us. While we are a charity driven company, developers still need to see the bundles as a financially viable option for them. Thank you for your support,"

they never had a problem before, and none of the other bundles using the same format have a problem now. even ea went in their bundle. the low average are only scaring away people because they're going after the wrong companies.
it isn't indies who need exposure, it isn't big companies looking to improve pr get some old title back in headlines for a sequel or in need of a quick buck.
they're doing bundles too often and burn through what would last them a year in a month. so they've got to reach, try to entice devs who otherwise wouldn't have considered the bundle and who the bundle wouldn't have considered asking in the past. they've gotten a taste for what 15% of a aaa bundle or a bundle every week brings in and want it to continue is all.

I bought the bundle for 1$ on first week. Now where it says "Like what we're doing? Click here to increase your order amount!" I get this:
"Make sure your total is over $4.41 to unlock FEZ and FTL: Faster than Light."
So there is no way for me to get the extra BTA games other than buying the bundle BTA from scratch?
If the answer is yes, then that sucks! That would mean that unless you get an early BTA at low price, you should wait to see the extra BTA games before buying.
