they do unban under certain surcumstances. so most likely, you were banned for a reason. Sorry dude

link please? for my knowledge, VAC bans are final and wont be undone at all - a RL friend of mine joined a hacked MW2 server and got VAC-banned for that, contacted support etc but they simply state that VAC bans "CANT" be lifted.
So... if you know something we dont know, please share :)
(Thats actualy seems to have happened to a lot of people (MW2-shit) and i didnt find anyone claiming he actualy got rid of the VAC ban)

this page states "Steam Support cannot remove the ban on your account

Regardless of who was using your account at the time it was banned, the use and security of your Steam account is your responsibility."
