You need to play the others before even playing this one, you can get it now and get the others on next sale, whenever that happens. Otherwise it's not bad but not great. And as far as MP goes, friends make the world a better place.

No. The horror elements are very weak compared to the first 2 games so the campaign is not scary at all and dull, it is slightly better in co-op though. The multiplayer matches are fairly intresting with their own spin on standard modes, but overall its just a generic fps.

I haven't played it, but my friends (who have played it) didn't like it that much. They complained to me about the tedious gameplay...

For 2-3€ it's totally worth it. A decent arcade shooter with few horror elements, sadly online community died so for co-op you need a friend.

I hear it has more first person shooter elements than horror aspects, which is a reversal of the first game or two.

It's a pretty strange game, but convince a friend to buy it as well and play it co-op. I completed the whole game in co-op, and however it didn't make much sense to me (story-wise), it was pretty funny (the action itself). So, yes, if I was you, I'd get it from GMG now it's so cheap.
