So back in 2012 I had to stop PC Gaming due to not having a well paying job and not keeping up with the advancements on technology, but I dusted off my PC recently and there is something about the multiplayer aspects of the community that makes me feel good. The players are very respectable and treat you well, there are no kids shouting in your ears calling you undesirable names, and specifically groups and websites like this that surround you with friendship and nice banter. So out of this long message, I want to thank you all for being yourselves.

Stick longer and all the bad things start to appear.

True, but I think that what RevanV was trying to say is that compared to console communities, PC communities seems much better.

What games do you play? I've had consistently horrible experiences in fps's, (especially counterstrike) backed when I played them on PC and apparently the moba communities are horrendous.

It must be different servers then lol, Back in the Battlefield Bad Company 2 era, it was peaceful, but currently it might be different servers we're joining haha

At first I thought this was sarcasm, but I'm really happy to hear you've had good experiences :) Most of my bad experiences tend to be MOBAs, which are notorious for toxic communities. I'm more of a single-player type gamer these days.

The reason why MOBAs are rid with horrid communities (In my opinion) is because it doesnt take but a best buy computer to play and kids think that they will make it big professionally

Yeah, I think e-sports games in particular draw some "interesting" people. It could also have a correlation with the games being free to play also. I played smite for well over a year and the community was horrible, but now it's on xbox one too :P

As someone who plays various systems, BOO!

That entirely depends on the community you are in. Good and bad users exist on all systems.

I agree, but I guess mainly it is that on PC with dedicated servers, you can literally choose who you want to play with instead of from what Ive seen consoles location selection. Consoles have some positives to, but it didnt feel like "home" to me

Play with friends online = choosing who you play with. Problem solved. Console communities aren't just jerks, and if you ever want proof that PC gamers have plenty of ****holes, well, there was already the mention of MOBAs, and other online games aren't free of them.

Also, the way PC 'Master Race' people treat anyone else. Those people can make me hate PC gaming.

But question: What if no friends are online yet you want to play multiplayer.

Happens on PC as well.

I'm just pointing out that saying you are forced to play with caustic users is untrue. Find a good community and play with them.

Thats what Im trying to say though, sure there are some bad players, but i find more positive communities than negative ones.

MOBA's really are not my type of game, but playing css sits my on a "seesaw" where it varies.
