Aha, 2 fundamental problems with the main idea arises though.
1: What if one of the attachments become incompatible with the base? This is really freaking likely, and that's not even talking about the possibility of holographic phones becoming the standard possibly even in 10 years. You've created more obsolete junk, that only lasts longer than the rest out there, if you're lucky that is.
2: Those little parts you replace? Congratulations, now you got rid of the problem of people discarding their huge phones, thus creating much electronical garbage in smaller forms. That oughtta show 'em and make this fuckall a better world!
