And from the looks of it contrary to last years sticker album the Saliens and the items to dress them up are bound to stay considering the sale items don't have an expiry date, can be traded and furthermore the FAQ mentions something about your Salien going into cryostasis after the sale is over and the Duldrumz are defeated.
Sadly, not all of them are tradeable. The stuff I got from the Spring Cleaning box isn't ... So, I fear already, that I'll have that ugly stuff in my inventory forever. And even for the ones, that can be traded, it's damn hard to get rid of them. I've managed to sell off one on the market ( I wonder who buys that stuff anyway?). If we could at least turn them into gems....

1) People buying a hat and shirt (I eye the cat and witcher one myself)
2) People hoping they become gemmable in the future and gamble on it being low-cost now (same as the backgrounds when gems got introduced)
3) hoarders (god knows Steam got plenty of those)

Okay, thanks for the insight. Do you really think there's a chance they might enable turning that stuff into gems one day? Has it happened before? I mean, your example with backgrounds, they basically could be broken into gems from the moment we had gems, or not?

It took me by surprise they added a massquantity of ungemmable items when the gems where pretty much intruduced to get rid of the excess amount of items cluttering the market and never finding someone wanting them :/

You were right. They turned on gems for those items now. My alt account just reached lvl 11 and got a witcher shirt which can be turned into 10 gems. Then I checked my inventory and all the items can be broken into 10 gems each now - including the untradeable ones from the spring cleaning box. Well, that's better than nothing.

I think most people who "played" to the high levels used some kind of script or at least an autoclicker. It would be tedious otherwise.

You can get 3 cards (1 per run) on a 24-hour cycle (reset same time as the discovery queue)... so you missed out quite a few cards by now... but atleast you can now get them the following days?

you can just open the planet, then select a mission, you go back to the store page, and you will get the card without playing the whole round, you can do it 3 times.

I'm not sure if you enter the drawing till you fight atleast once (Since for you it gives you the select planet, it just drops me on the planet) though.

I liked to play the game at the start for a while, although the exp increased too slow to invest allot of time in it (didn't want to use a script). Thought I'd just play it everyday for the cards, ending up at rank two or three. Then the bosses got introduced and seeing I got over a million exp each time, I've started following the game to fight the bosses and now ranked up all the way to rank six. :) Enjoyable game and I'm curious how the Salien will look on your Steam profile in the end..

So I was just having a look at the recently added item category Sale items, thinking I had amassed soo many hats and outfits I must have almost all of them but I couldn't have been more wrong. 39 pages!!! I'm not the the biggest fan of clicker games but I have to admit I found the dress-up doll section of the event kind of cute (although the Alien creator itself lacks variety) and since there has been concern about the lack of Summer Sale related threads I present to you the wrath of the seven celestial seas, the notorious Tentaclebeard.
I'd be happy if you also shared your Saliens in this thread and your opinion about the Salien Game.
