[Question] Notification Noise

nope, no sounds

I've got my volume mixer up to see where it's coming from but every time the sound happens I'm not looking lol.

It's not coming from my tab, I'm seriously spooked.

I get notification sounds from Steam (e.g. one of my groups has an event), but there is nothing I know of on SteamGifts which produces a sound.

(Well, perhaps just this one thing, but that's it.)

Do you have an email client? They're always makin' noise...

I've found it. It was a steam message window. But only it wasn't actually a message window because I'd already closed and pretty much exited steam but it was still making the low bumbly bouncy sound. Like someone dropping a metal tube in a sewer tunnel.
