They had a demo on onLive for awhile. If you give the ole youtube a search you should be able to find some sweet gameplay vids.
I missed out on the demo by one day, so I've basically watched all the gameplay thats on youtube. This is literally my most anticipated title of the year.
Also Firefly is my favourite TV show of all time :)

I just wanted to make this thread for all the people who were unaware that FTL, the absolutely fantastic space roguelike indie game had a kickstarter that ended last night at more than 2000% funded.
More than 2000%!
Just goes to show that kickstarter can easily be a place for cult hits and games which may not reach mass appeal but have a die hard enough following. Who cares if publishers don't think something is marketable enough for them to make the millions they want, now we the fans have a say and not just in special cases like heavy hitters Double Fine and inXile.
You may now lament that I get to play the beta and you don't below.
