It's not the name, it's the combination of everything. Name, the SS tag and the picture. Not to mention the "art" swastika in his steam profile.

Why? Revering a controversial historical figure or parts of the organisations built around him is not doing anything by itself and in most countries praising Hitler is not against the law. He doesn't even have hate speech or antisemitism on his profile. We have seen more flat-out racist, xenophobic, homophobic, or in generally jerkwad people run around freely on SG or Steam as well (with maybe some occasional 2-days suspensions). Compared to them, a Hitler/SS profile page is actually tame.

+1 I don't see a reason to ban someone just because of their profile. As long as he's not bothering others with it, just let him be. If it offends you, ignore him (which shouldn't be too hard, since I've never seen him before on this forum).

I understand that the issue may hit close to home for you and if they were to come here spouting Nazi nonsense and hateful/racist remarks then fine, but I wouldn't ban someone solely based on the content of their Steam profile. What you should do is report them to Valve for inappropriate imagery on their profile and let them deal with it.

He recently had up some (probably fake) GTAV givaways, in which someone figured out that that account was probably hacked due to the date things were set up in just the last few days.

There's about 20 other SG users that have Hitler in their nick, and other SG users that use nazi nicks and avatars and there are also SG groups like this one: https://www.steamgifts.com/group/20hyK/hitladidnotinrong. I have seen users post things like "hitler was an OK guy and that the Jews were asking for it anyway" and a load of other things like that.
So it's not a shock for me that there are nazi sympathizers active on SG.
