Is it ok to blacklist someone for purposely waiting to activate a product at the 6 day mark?
I once blacklisted a guy just because he was kinda a dick, and aggressively so.

Meh, everyone is a dick in their own way. I eventually unblacklisted him and am fairly sure I have not used it since. First stones and all that.

I think it’s a difference if someone looks at the key, but still waits to activate it or if someone is on here just with a mobile and joins other ga‘s without looking at the win key... anyway, I wouldn’t blacklist before the 7day mark...
But if you want your keys redeemed faster you might offer them a whitelist for fast activation/marking as received... i‘ve Seen it a couple times in public ga‘s if someone wants to finish a level in time for another specific ga... maybe that‘s a suitable way for you?

I personally wouldn't blacklist for that reason. The rules say that they have 7 days to activate, so I would give them those 7 days. I know it's frustrating having a sent game just sitting there, and I don't know why anyone would wait 6 days to activate if they're active - that seems bizarre behaviour - but as long as people are abiding by the rules I don't think they're doing anything wrong.
But then I only blacklist people who are abusive of others, or who purposefully join a group to break the rules and try to leech as many games as they can before they're kicked. Which is why I only have 4 people on my BL.
And now that you know you can message support to ask for more giveaway slots, that should alleviate the issue. Also, making the giveaways 1+ will filter out the bulk of bots and inactive users, and make it much more likely that you giveaways will be marked received faster.

Someone did say that it was most likely a bot or auto joiner. And as much as I'd love to filter out the bots, I also want to give everyone a chance at this game. Maybe when I give away the higher quality games, I'll keep it at my current level.
Edit: Also having more giveaway slots will definitely alleviate the issue. I was mostly worried about getting them out there.

Well, keep in mind that getting to level 1 is trivially easy. You have to give away 1 game that wasn't given away for free. That costs less than $1. It's really a minimal amount of effort.
I understand the desire to want to include everyone, but level 0 really is full of bots and people who never contribute, and is that who we really want our giveaways to go to?

That is a good point. I think I'll do that from now on. Thank you!

Someone previously made a rough outline of the levels on here, and it basically went like this:
Level 0 - entirely bots and leechers
Level 1 - cutting out most bots and leechers, but still a lot of bots and leechers and card farmers
Level 2 - mostly people, still lots of card farmers
Level 3 - mostly people, fewer card farmers
Level 4 - people that will possibly play their wins
Level 5+ - people that will probably play their wins
So if you want to cut out most of the bots while making it available to the most people, Level 1.
If you want to cut out even more bots/leechers/farmers, at the cost of cutting out some people, Level 2.
If you want the game to actually be played, Level 4 or 5 (or the Playing Appreciated group).
Level 6+ is just increasing the odds of winning for the most generous / active members.

The person in question who inspired my rule appeared to be someone who purposely waited for the 6 day mark. When they first got it, there was no other redeemed gifts on his account, I waited a few days and noticed that he had redeemed a few more gifts - all on the 6th day mark. He then redeemed my gift on the 6th day. I may be jumping to conclusions and/or misread the situation.
Bot script.

Yes, it is perfectly fine for you to blacklist someone for whatever reason. I have been blacklisted for not playing my wins "quickly enough," but I do not hold that against the person who did it. The blacklist is a tool, and it is up to the user how he/she wishes to use it.

That's fine, if I see my winners online a few times and it's been like 3 days they'll get a blacklist.

Many users blacklist for misspelling a word so it will be no problem to blacklist for your reason.

OK, I'm kinda new to discussions and giveaways. But, I noticed that once and awhile, I'll get a user who purposely waits until the 6th day mark in order to activate a product. I have 100% no problem with a user that is inactive within that time, but not when I see them activating other products and such within that time.
So I recently made a giveaway rule that if I see someone purposely not activating their product within that time while active, I would blacklist them. But, then I got called out by another user who said that was a dramatic way to BL list someone, so decided to blacklist me in retaliation for my rule.
But do you think that rule is OK? Or not? Because if others think it's unfair as well, I won't include that rule.
Edit:
Conclusion:
I won't include the rule in my giveaways. If by the 6th day, someone has not activated their product, I'll contact them to ask why, and give them that extra 7 days. Only if they are rude or do not contact me, will I blacklist.
Thank you for the help and input, everyone! I want to be a good member of the community, and your contribution helps that. Feel free to keep posting your opinions, questions, or comments here, and I'll make sure to read them.
