I expected the same game with HD textures. Plus a fanbase storming to defend it, because its blizzard. Seriously, no one thought it could be this bad, even haters couldnt imagine a better way to fuck this one up.
But no, it was so much more. turns out the answer was to just remove features, so simple, im still laughing at all this.
And the memes...the memes are amazing. Totally worth it

every single ingame item will be owned by Blizzard and if you want to equip any of it you need to use a rental token. Rental token will be available in the blizzard store.

Blizzard initiated Stupid mode. As always late to the party (almost 15 or more years after). I don't see a new custom game mode coming out of this that will shape and create a new genre. There are free top notch game engines out there with a lot of assets available to get you started, why would anyone try the inferior blizzard mod engine to make a mode and then later pay royalties to blizzard?

What do you mean? This game is obviously a scam. There is no redeeming quality if you had the original one, besides the 4K support and the new models, and full price for that. In this case the score is a red flag of the shittiness of the product.
At least you will make a more responsable buy. The reviews are also mediocre at best so...

Warcraft 3:Reforged also downgrades the original game:
Blizzard not only downgraded the promised Warcraft III: Reforged. They also altered the original game. If you owned the old version of W3, and you never bought "reforged" now you have an obligation to install a "patch" which alters the launcher.
The only way to play original W3 is now with an old CD version, but cannot play that version online, because that original battle.net server doesn't exist anymore.
The new TOS are a big middle finger to the mod community
