Argentina. Numbers 0-99 have a meaning associated with them and are called "dreams." Those numbers and meanings are well known by people who play the local version of the Lotto a lot.

'Cause there's a very similar thing in Italy, called la smorfia actually there are several(?) variants, the smorfia napoletana (Naples') is the most famous but the one you linked seems more similar to the smorfia romana (Rome's)
Asking 'cause I'm curious if this is a more-or-less global folkloristic thing or if it's just an Italian¹ thing.
¹ Italians are said to be very superstitious, and I know that many italians left Italy for Argentina in the past (but I'm not aware of the opposite)

It's quite possible that those two things are related. As you mentioned, there was a huge Italian immigration to Argentina from the mid 1800's onwards. More than likely, Italian immigrants brought la smorfia to Argentina, where it was possibly changed using lunfardo to what it is today. And yes, there are lots of superstitious people here!
In the past few years, especially in the last couple, there has been an increasing Argentinean immigration to Europe. Since most people are of either Italian or Spanish descent, those are the countries chosen to relocate, as they are accepted as citizens if they file for citizenship.

Bump and hello, much older sg ueer. I'd like to request a spot on your whitelist but on the not unlikely chance I get denied, can I ask about your Game Dev tag instead? I wasn't here 3 years ago so I'd like to ask if this is a new development or were you a game dev before as well? Were you developing things during your hiatus? I think I can make some educated guesses as to what games you made but still a bit curious.
Also, I contend that Cities: Skyline is not a 'mandatory shitty giveaway'. Granted, I haven't played much of it at all but I think it's okay. DLC fest though.

I've recently came back to SG after years of inactivity and last few weeks I've been just lurking around, watching and it changed :) Most of cool kids from my time are gone so I need some new cool kids to share my whitelist giveaways with.
