Steam mobile authentication bullshit

Yesterday I posted around 300+ items on the market. Having to confirm them all from the phone was a total pain in the ass. I understand for the higher value ones but the low value too... c'mon valve. And there should be an option to remember your option, like if I confirmed an item 1 second ago don't you think i will as well for the rest 299 of them. Anyway....annoying is to say the least.

the whole mobile authenticator thing is a pain in the ass,i switched carriers a couple weeks back and got a shiny new S7 edge but i thought i was smart and remembered to deactivate the authenticator on my S5 before the switch...well my old carrier decided to not let me keep my old number i had had for the past 15 years so i got a new number with the new phone...come to find out you cant remove your old number from your steam account unless you still have your old number to receive a text on it...how ass backwards is that?if you still had your old number why would you be trying to change it?
so basically if you were to lose your phone,lose your service,move and change your number to a local one or switch carriers like me your screwed and have to contact steam support and send them ALOT of way to personal info to get your old number removed and wait at least a week for a reply.

i would not use a temporary number to activate the authenticator as it will cause you a nightmare down the road,i would just stick to using email for your codes and deal with the delayed trades or get yourself a pre-payed phone.

I can understand annoyance when you have to confirm each and every market transactions. I can totally understand that.

But whining because of Steam auth 'bullshit' by not owning a simple phone or use auth programs freely available?

I guess common sense is not so common.
