Aww.. I've been waiting/hoping they would do a Humble Indie #1 Re-Bundle, but I guess its never happening. :(

THIS. This is the only bundle I'm missing (besides one of the mobile bundles and a few Weekly sales).

Yup. Can't agree more. Feel like I was screwed, because I missed a couple sales, saving money HOPING there would be something good. Only one I got was the Silver rebundle. But it is Memorial Day, and Gamer's Gate and other places are having sales, so I am going to go find me something :D

That's pretty funny. I bought Napolean:TW from Gamefly PC for $3.75. Four months ago. The TW Master Collection was $17 for Thanksgiving and the Grand Master was $30. This isn't a good bundle. This isn't even a good sale.

Maybe if enough people buy the art pack for $0.01, the BTA will drop the game to a reasonable price.

You were faster :)
I don't think a lot of people want that artbook. Plus those big collections will raise the bta anyway.

It's even funnier that i got the N:TW and E:TW GOTY limited edition combo pack thing for 10 euros a few months ago.

Maybe if no1 buys anything at all, they will do something about it and start again doing actual bundles.

This is hardly a bundle. Master and Grand Master Collection was already cheaper on amazon. Around 17 and 30 usd.

The eve bundle was good, gave you a month of the game plus some starter loot for $1, to be fair it was only for new accounts but it saved you quite a bit if space sim mmos are you thing.

You could also get it for $0.01 :P

Are you seriously going to play a game that never finishes and have to play a monthly subscription? There are thousands of games there. I made the same mistake once, a long time ago. Not anymore.

ROFL So I just glanced at the daily again, and the BTA went from $3.74 to $10.04 in 20 minutes and now a refresh put's it %11.53 in a minute. Some suckers are eating up the $25 and $45 packages. XD And now the $7 package of the Complete Napoleon is cheaper than the BTA. Today's may be a fail, but it is certainly a VERY amusing one.

BTW, anyone know if the artwork is any good or worth getting? Just curious because if the artwork is good, I will actually get it.
Maybe bring down the BTA by half a cent XD

Well, I guess if you like this type of game and don't have this particular one, it's probably a good deal. But I don't so this is yet another pass. Besides that though, I don't like (a) tier 1 having no game, (b) there only being 1 game in this deal, and (c) having 5 tiers (that's a lot).

Out of the 14 daily bundles, I only bought two (Flying and Dungeons) and both at the $1 level. I hope they got some good information out of this experiment of theirs, because from what I've been reading around here, it seems like most people didn't really like how it turned out.

Not a good deal at all. I got Napoleon AND Rome total war for 3.50 or so at on sega week. The master colection has been bundled before also, and it was cheaper.

So basically you are paying retail price for this game, which would be allright if you actually had the physical stuff, but this is online and the game is quite old. Its not that the game is bad or something, because its not, it simply was expensive.

Well, for $45 you get both the base game, the collection, the Master collection and the Grand Master collection. It's a good deal.

Why wouldn't they? That's how bundles usually work...

They stated on fb and hb blog that your gift upgrades to the next tier as you pay more the tier. it wasn't clear and a lot of people asked their support if they get all the tiers. Thankfully they did give all the tiers.

Well, I would've been very disappointed if they didn't give all the tiers without clearly pointing out that this bundle worked differently from any other bundle they have ever run ;)

I guess they'll really need to think of a new name for the collection that includes all of them, including Rome II. Total War Imperial Grand Master Edition Collection Deluxe?

$42 for grandmaster collection is average sale. Cheapest was $30 @ amazon. The only "good" price here is Napoleon collection, as the lowest previous price for it was $7.49. you save half a dollar!

This is the part I think some people keep missing. Its better than no sale, but its worse than any of the Seasonal Steam Sales. People are better off just waiting for the Summer Sale.

From the email they sent me: "If you pay $45 or more, you'll receive all of the above and the Total War Grand Master Collection, which includes 20 pieces of DLC."

Yep, I can confirm you do indeed get EVERY tier for the price. That actually makes this a quite good deal indeed if people have a friend or two to go in on it with.

i dont get it. I need to pay 14$ for Napoleon only or 7$ for the whole Collection?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Napoleon-only is beat the average. Because of the tier 4 and 5 prices at $25 and $45, purchases at those levels will drive the average price up. That's probably what happened -- enough people bought the higher priced tiers to make the average price higher than the $7 fixed price at tier 3.

compared to this one, eve bundle was out of this world :P actually, it was quite nice bundle, for someone who wants to start playing eve for the first time (or just wants cheap alt, dont think it will get cheaper than 1c any time soon, lol).

on the other hand this one ... it is... ugh :/ hardly can call this a bundle tbh, not to mention its not that cheap either.

I bought 7 accounts for 7 cents. About 600 mill just for the gecko drones and maybe someone will contract buy the Cerebral Accelerators for several hundred million. Also some cheap alts for a month. I'd say that's a win-win for a beginner like me ^^

Them redoing the Team 17 bundle made it all worth it for me. I have the worms games and friends to play them with, so I am as happy as can be. To be honest, I was expecting a super deal or a huge revisit for the last day, but I guess it just wasn't in the cards. Maybe tomorrow they will re-release every bundle they've done in this special for one day.

They are really redefining what it means to be a bundle, just not in a good way.

I don't see how, this bundle is cheaper than if you bought it all individually in a normal sale, assuming you're buying the top tier. I would consider that pretty good.

No it isn't, I purchased each and every game + it's dlc which includes Rome 2 which isn't in this bundle for roughly $50.

Rome 2 is 60 by itself and it doesnt have any record low on Isthereany deal.

Show proof.

Isthereanydeal is only good for showing YOUR region's price, not other regions + it doesn't list promos.

I pre-ordered for either 14 or 16 TF2 keys not sure, and right after release it was in either an AMD or an Nvidia promo lowering it's price to only a few keys.

Not true, it shows historical lows everywhere. Rome 2 is at 60. Avg low on steam has been 55.
Lowest ever is 17.00 at nuuvem and has not been lower than 30 in other stores.

I see no point in arguing with someone who's convinced that I would lie about something as meaningless as this, believe whatever you want, I'm sure you know it better then someone who started trading to buy rome 2 and still is active as a trader to this day.

Well it used to be bundles were a cheap way to get a variety of interesting games you might not otherwise buy. Now, the first tier doesn't even need to include an actual game. You can include only one item per tier. You can make the minimum price to get more than 1 game from the bundle be $45. You can make a bundle that is essentially free advertising for a game with a monthly subscription fee. You can release so many bundles with high tier costs in quick succession that most of your biggest fans couldn't even hope to afford them all.

These aren't really humble bundles, at least not compared to any previous humble bundles. They are just overly complicated sales that give some of the profits to charity. Sure most of them are still technically a great deal but this just doesn't fit with what made Humble Bundle so popular in the first place.
