Err, that is actually not true, as of today vanilla SupCom activates itself AND Forged Alliance on Steam.

Not all Forged Alliance keys are Steam-redeemable. Unfortunately for me mine isn't.

Whatever... get a key using proxy, if you want, post them on forum anything - don't use them in giveaways... you really think this is fair, if someone "steals" 10 keys using fake accounts and post them in giveaway? It's not fair.

wrong, there is a difference between IGN and CDAction.

  • IGN free trials were limited to one per IGN account and needed a valid credit card. Making sure that the only way to get them were from one account per person, and IGN banned people trying to make multiple accounts

  • There was an exploit to get multiple keys on IGN, Loko took action to ban those people from steamgifts and remove all exploited giveaways

  • IGN removed the free trial recently to combat explotation, yet people still try to exploit it by committing credit card fraud. Those people are getting banned as well

  • CD Action is legit, but is only available for Polish users w/ a Polish IP adress. Now if you use a Polish Proxy, you can get access but that is against the spirit of the giveaway. CD Action set that restriction with a purpose and Steamgifts/ the community will respect that restriction.

It's a polish gaming magazine. It's not a bad thing, just that the keys that they give are supposed to be for Polish users only. It's being considered exploited because people use proxies to get free keys.

They don't require a VPN in order to work on Steam, they need a VPN in order to have one. It's an other story and I don't explain nothing.

No. It COULD happen that the game get's revoked from your account (like DiRT3). But I'm sure it won't. There's basically no risk.

There is very likely no danger for you. It's not a very nice thing you did, though, and the issue with steamgifts is that if they allow it, they get spammed with huge amounts of giveaways from people who made multiple accounts, and we get points inflation.

These keys are not stolen. They are free for anyone from the Polish region.
They are 3RD PARTY RETAIL GLOBAL KEYS for steam.

Meaning: they work normally, are not stolen and are quite OK.

Supreme Commander was added to the exploited games list quite some time ago the first time this happened. I believe it was only Forged Alliance, though. We are adding SC back to the list, which was mysteriously removed at one point. I will not make it an announcement, people will discover this on their own upon submitting.

Someone else has trouble with registering there? ^^ It always refuses the captcha. I have typed it in for like 50 times now.

It does always say "The registration code does not match that displayed on the screen, the new code has been generated, please try again." :/

slightly open? I'd say the door is slightly open with IGN Prime (since you can exploit it there with your CC). This door is completely open (ok, almost completely since you need a polish proxy)
