Arcanum is one of the best games ever made imo, I hope you have fun with it!

I remember long time ago that I finished it 2 times:

Half-orc fighter with a hint of magic.
Dwarf full technology and shooting everything with guns.

I didn't buy anything because 1) money and 2) backlog. heavily considered finally getting RDR2 but nah, it's consistently on sale for $20 USD now so it can wait until summer sale.

Waiting is the best when it comes to play games for me, not only it's cheaper and save you more money it also cut you loose from the hype train. People were hyping up about Elden Ring and now playing Hogwarts Legacy non-stop, while here i am just for the first time playing Yakuza 0 and Fallout 3 and almost never touched popular games in the recent years because of their price, i regret nothing because at least i don't pirate.

I'm trying to get less games and all this sales are true tests of my resilience... So far I managed to buy only one game - Pilgrims, as it was sitting on my wishlist for too long already and I was looking for something simple to play with a daughter. Hope I will be strong enough to ignore everything else for the next 10 hours :D

bought Time Commando which is my childhood fav, and Boneraiser Minions which is an awesome Vampire Survivors-like game that plays perfectly on the deck and is very addictive. Oh and Dead Space Remake but that one from a trade

This sale I was buying every game that was not yet "corrected" by steam new region prices. I was late for The Forgotten City and Death's door - price doubled for them.

Fable - Classic RPG! Cult classic RPG? Well, who knows with cults!
Anniversary Halo: The Master Chief Collection - Great bundle of undoubtedly cult classic games. Also very cheap in my region. I was just greedy not buying earlier.
Fran Bow - cute, quirky quest with personality.
The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante - I was watching some stream of this game and was amazed of how good the story was. I already spoiled for myself many twists and turns but not all.
Subnautica: Below Zero - between two options: lobotomy so you can play Subnautica for the "first time" or buying the sequel. I reluctantly choose latter.
Remnant: From the Ashes - Complete Edition - very good regional price for reportedly very good soulslike shooter.
Exo One - this indie will probably be bundled at some point, buying it because region pricing is still good.
Songs of Conquest - Heroes3? Heroes3. Heroes3! Those who know they know.
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous - Mythic Edition - price bug was very good, but personally never tried this kind of RPGs.
Teardown - the developer warned that he will increase game price by 10$, I also suspect it will get adjusted to new regional pricing. The price will probably double or triple for me if I don't buy now!
Cruelty Squad - postmodern boomer shooter, most likely will be bundled in the furure.
Inscryption - some call it the game of 2021 year, at least among indies.
Dorfromantik - regional pricing is good, otherwise I would get it through Unparallel Puzzles bundle.
Gears Triple Bundle - the games have certain charm, it may be corporate charm, but still.
Pedestrian - nice puzzle! For me it's a good region price and - 20% through Mind-Bending Worlds BUNDLE.
Nioh: Complete Edition - publishers from Japan habitually ignore regional pricing, that's why I'll probably buy this japanese Dark souls (more japanese) that's sold by default price.
The Room three - nice Myst-like puzzle
The Room old sins - another entry into chill The Room series with surprisingly dramatic subtitle.

I guess games that are very worth the discount currently or normally aren't this highly discounted? (I like chill calming games)

I think not, although it's remarkable we still see a few historical lows in this time of accelerating inflation. Maybe I'm old fashioned but I want to be a little courted by a store wanting to sell me their wares. A handful of gratuitous stickers doesn't do it for me:)

Alwa's Awakening - Many people have recommended it for MV lovers.
Critters For Sale - weird art makes it look interesting plus I've been reading plenty of weird fiction lately
Lucah: Born of a Dream - I've heard it's a treat and it looks amazing
Moustache Mountain - It was dirt cheap and dev has been nice
Schein - It was cheap and had it on the wishlist for a long time; this sort of platformer tends to be a good time killer
Still Life - Had the sequel for a while and it was less than a dollar

Last Half of Darkness - Society of the Serpent Moon

Bought after watching this wonderful (and 3 hour long!) retrospective on the series. Long story short, mostly forgotten adventure games developed by a single talented person. Great find for fans of horror point and clicks. The Steam version of Society of the Serpent Moon comes with 3 additional games in the series, and you can read some positive reviews for all of them on Adventure Gamers.

Also, Poly Bridge 2. Because sometimes it's just fun to fiddle about with hydraulics and make your brain explode.

Thanks a lot! The game looks great. But to be honest, I never heard of it, just looked it up and saw that there are six games "out there".
