Unpopular opinion - Fall Guys/Among Us are overrated?

fall guys wouldnt have half the long term players if it wasnt for the "gotta catch um all" mentality with the winning of points so you can unlock limited time skins.
if the levels in that game were random generated i would be all about it but as it stands now its just a repetitive grind.
i dont know how it can be called a party game ether when you cant play in a group with your friends, only random people.

Overrated =/= bad. I enjoy both but don’t really pay attention to either community. I’m sure there are people way too excited about each, but that always happens with popular things.

As the good doctor said, it’s best to let people enjoy what they enjoy. If neither game is your thing, there’s no shame in that. My friends have tried to get me into other flavor-of-the-month games I wasn’t interested in. You do what makes you happy.

They are simple games with low level entry requirement. I guess a "gateway" video game would be somewhat appropriate term.

It's like choosing to play play luck-revolving card games instead of a clearly better and mechanically deeper tabletop, simply because learning the tabletop requires time and "short term discomfort" cause by the learning process.

I have no intention or interest to play those two mentioned titles but at the same time completely understand why people are all over them.

ratings are overrated

I haven’t played Fall Guys, but I can say that Among Us with friends in the evenings has been very fun; we’ve been doing it for the past two weeks or so and it’s what I’ve been looking forward to every day =) great way to bring the friend group together while simultaneously splitting it lmao

Among us can't be overrated, in my opinion. For 4 bucks you can't really do nothing wrong, so even if you just have fun for some rounds, it would be a good deal.

Those games are made for twitch/youtube/streamers
