I love both Halo and CoD, but I really think it matters on your opinions of both the series. If you like both like I do I would choose halo 4, been playing it a lot and very fun. Also atm, i have been hearing very mixed things on BO 2 and the way treyarch took nuketown preorder DLC map out kinda scares me on what there doing, but Halo 4 is pretty fucking awesome (IF ONLY IT WAS ON PC D: )

I haven't played either, but I say Halo 4. The single player campaigns in Halo are generally better, and the multiplayer will last longer since they don't do yearly releases.
