yep, some are thieves. They move to Denmark sometimes and steal, that's what most Danish people think.

But when I see what's going on in our country (politicians are biggest thieves in this country, government is stealing most of people earnings, retarded trolls are everywhere, whole country is swarming in old "christians" that are even more retarded [today I saw a video where some old idiot was recording kids playing football and called them pagans just because they're not participating in Corpus Christi....basically he objected to the freedom of will and faith], municipal police that is afraid to do anything when a bunch of people are fighting each other or beating up someone so instead they will go and chase persons that are for example drinking ONE beer in some quiet place......all those things and many many more) I just want it to disappear.

So basically - proud of history, ashamed of what's going on now in Poland.

Yes that is indeed the easiest way to go around the net. Judging someone by what they "do", then you can label them for what they are. You are less likely to be disappointed when you think someone is "dumb" and it turns out true. That way at least when it turns out they're actually decent, you're a bit delighted.

And to answer the thread question, no, I am not ashamed to be a Romanian. I'm only ashamed some people can tag an entire nation (RO or any other nation) just because they had the "chance" to stumble upon specimens that evolution seams to have ignored.

but aren't we taught to be patriotic? to have pride in our own national heritage? then they are all wrong, those "adults"? (cannot think of an alternative right now,being in college but still gets lectured by lots of people always make me feel less of an adult at times.

There are certain governments I disagree with more than others but that has nothing to do with nationalities. I find there are a couple universal truths that hold for every nationality.
1) Most people are idiots
2) The few representatives at the top often don't represent the views and wishes of the populace
