Why am I asking this question here?
It is common opinion that most people from my country are drunks and thieves (yes, probably many of them are ;( ). And many of them are acting like kids and boors even while playing online, I'm very ashamed of them.
When I play games online I never reveal what country I am from.
How about you? Are you proud of ashamed to be of your nationality?

Both. I know that most of the people here (Turkey) are "best nsfw titled" jerks but for two days, we, all of "we" (and I mean ALL) are working, fighting for our rightful democracy.

not ashamed but angry about my country (a lot of bullshit is happening here [political strife]). However I'm proud of the people who succeeded (most of them are athletes) and are famous in other countries

I really don't care. Only Bulgarians know how shitty Bulgaria is and how many assholes we have so it wouldn't be too much of a revelation either way (even though I just told you that and now you know too much). :P

Plus I honestly think you shouldn't judge someone by their country. Idiots and jerk get born everyone(even if the state the country is in could contribute to there being more of them).

Is it just me, or does it seem like everyone speaks English?

Well, the site is in English. So naturally anyone who doesn't speak it wouldn't have an easy time here. :P
Ah, you mean in general? Nope.

English? No, sorry, can't speak it. You must be good at all languages and just translate them for yourselves in your head.

I've met many people who don't. I can understand the ones who only speak Spanish, but the ones who only speak Chinese are hard to communicate with.

Unfortunately there's no reason for me to be proud of my country. We were once the country of futebol (soccer on northern seas) but really, at what cost? The whole country stopped every thing, and I really mean everything, during every single cup I witnessed, and I can't even begin to explain why I hate 2016's one - hospitals? who needs that? and schools? sure, Brasil is the best on those, right.. right? Carnaval? Awesome, a reason for having naked women dance on the streets with the whole world watching. Beautiful. Except it isn't, this was on TV no matter what time you tuned in. Also here we have a culture of "why do we need to learn how to fish when the government gives us beautiful fishes every month, depending on the number of childs one has?" and yes, "Bolsa Família" is major BS. It was here and was working right for some time, but people complained that once they had a job, they lost that "allowance", and I will not comment on all the others "allowances" for different reasons one can receive around here for not working or even for being in jail. The online community is just flat out annoying, and they like to be known for that. Most of them like their fame and do everything to keep it and quoting what the interviewed said, "We enjoy terrorizing [...] It's just a game, we are having fun. It isn't supposed to be taken seriously." and, unfortunately, like this guy, they don't see it as something bad AND the only way most can have fun is ruining fun for others. Anyways, I'm not ashamed of being brasilian, the country is great, it's culture and it's nature is beautiful, and I don't lie and/or deny I'm from here, but you can't see where I'm from on my profile - and that's mostly to avoid prejudice. /endrant
