Having played most of the listed MMOs, I'd have to say Asheron's Call (circa 1998-2000) and Everquest/Everquest 2 were my favorites by a long shot. (Yes, I'm an old-timer)

After those, probably Rift and Tera. Loved the worlds of both those games, but no longer have 100's and 100's of hours required to keep up in MMOs. :(

Well, I'm sure it's the old nostalgia talking but my first one was early EverQuest.

I can never even explain to the people who didn't live the game what a brutal, hard punishing game it was. (trains, Corpse runs, MAJOR experience loss, sitting with your nose in a book meditating, camping rares for endless hours and never seeing him, "Hell Levels", non instanced dungeons)

Playing ESO atm, i genuinely don't get the hate, i mean i know it had a ton of issues and such at launch but i see none of them in it now, i think most people who hate it either never played it or have not played it in ages, also the new area is awesome.

My other recently played MMOs are LOTRO and Star Trek Online but i'v played more or less ever big name(and a ton of crappy asian f2p ones) to come out in the last 9 years. Warhammer Online, despite all it's fault, and Khorne knows it had many of them, is still my all time favorite MMO, the fact that i'm a huge Warhammer fan probably plays a part in that as well :)

Wanted to play Wildstar, had a retail code of their game, activated it, did not get most of the perks advertised, wrote support, answered me 2 days later telling me it's a known issue and they're on it, decided to wait for it to be fixed before playing it more, 2 weeks later still no change, wrote support again, got the same copy+paste answer, uninstalled the game and never looked back.
