I like how people think that if private and group giveaways didn't exist, those giveaways would just automatically become public giveaways, when the fact of the matter is that most of them just wouldn't ever exist in the first place. Brilliant.

But no, serious, you profile say you winned aroudn 20 giveaways, and some are great AA games.
It's not that hard to win, I'm here around a month and I've get 2 games (Well one in the 500 copies giveaway but still cool) and by all I know I never spend a cent for that, I did created a few giveaway of myself but just for the fun of participate, so I can say for myself the odds aren't that bad for all I see.

Because they invade other countries (media only shows one side of the story, many innocents are killed), even when the terrorist threat is gone, for the control of resource and have a corrupted government/military. Also, they waste billions and billions of tax payers money toward this, rather than healthcare and education. They would rather spend it on control and spying even on their own people...

I'm not saying there isn't the possibility of a nice transaction. I've had the same. But there are a large number of unsavory characters there, plus the constant adding of you from strangers to try and scam.
There is also an awful lot of negative dialogue, unreasonable expectations, and generally immature and hateful/greedy behavior.
It's fine. Not much different than Wall Street. Essentially throw a bunch of maladjusted sociopaths in a room and see what happens. :)
But yes. There's nothing to say that if you have the patience that you won't eventually find a gem in the septic tank.

Not much reason to hate. Great site, but one thing, I don't like the chat too much. People are usually very rude and when you make a little mistake, bang. Banned forever. You'll say "It's your own fault for being banned!" yeah, yeah... Yet, I still think a small warning would be great... Otherwise, Steam Gifts FOR THE WIN!!!

When people only gift via private groups and list's etc, to only raise cv and chances to win.
Then they have several hundred or thousand CV just from private giveaways, while the same time claiming they gave the random SG user/community so much.
Appreciate the giveaways for your group(s) but that bragging does not roll over to average user.

only things I dislike about SG are the users on here who feel the need to jump at other people's throats for the smallest, pettiest things and the people who put themselves on high horses.
also really dislike people who make fun of users who aren't very good at English.
