ok here's the thing: i'll be moving out from my hometown to another town for working (and probably leaving for good). so i have this thought for selling my current pc and laptop and buy razer blade. why im choosing razer blade is because i want something portable, yes powerful at the same time. i do gaming and design for working. and to be honest razer blade is the most beautiful piece of engineering i've ever seen. so here's the big question, is it really worth it to "trade" my pc + laptop for a razer blade? any input will do a lot for me

pc spec
i7 2600
8gb
HIS HS6850

laptop : ASUS A46CM

TL:DR i need something powerful and portable at the same time since i'll be moving around a lot. i know that most of the people sees blade as overrated expensive thingy, so please suggest anything that as powerful and portable as blade but half the price maybe (acer, asus, fujitsu, toshiba, anything)

here's some potato http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/Er7EZ/insurgency
(of course its insurgency, what else do you expect)

I heard about the alianware laptops being better than the razer blade (suppose they are just rumors). But on the other hand, I also like the design and power of the RazerBlade a lot more then the other laptops. In the end it is your choice to make : )

If you're going to carry your new laptop alot, get the Blade.
If not, get an MSI or Alienware, they're heavier but more powerful.
Of course if you like Blade's design the most, just go for it :)

Eww, don't buy gillette :/
Any safetyrazor or cut-throat/shavette is better(With Feather-blades ofc!)

Correct me if I'm wrong.

You're better off buying a regular laptop (Acer, Dell, Lenovo, etc), you'd get the same specs and for cheaper. It just might not look as cool.

Using Google, I found this.

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IMTQ6I6/ref=asc_df_B00IMTQ6I63404995?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&tag=pg-391-01-20&linkCode=df0&creative=395097&creativeASIN=B00IMTQ6I6

Same graphics card (870m) and a i7 processor

I'm guessing the only (big) difference is the resolution and the laptop size. A Quad HD resolution isn't really that necessary.

It's probably a better idea to trade it in for a faster laptop. Use Newegg or something similar to find one with similar specs, it'll tend to be cheaper.

I'd recommend getting an Asus or Lenovo instead.

eh I read that Asus has very bad durability, if I was going to be moving around a lot I might not trust an Asus

I'd recommend a Gillete Mach 3.

Edit: Damn, somebody already went there!

I'd take something with a 970m, forgetting the 8 series, check some of those:
Aorus X7 Pro GTX 970M SLI http://youtu.be/yLlvuAvAsDE
MSI GS70 Stealth http://youtu.be/cWuUuUvyHi4 (my favorite, it's sooo red and I love red. There are white and black colors as well)
ASUS G751 http://youtu.be/6h0y70hneqw

I'm not sure what your price range is but it sounds like you want something portable but powerful like a Desktop Replacement laptop. You might want to look at something like this. I have a very similar but older laptop (Dell XPS) but mine only takes a single video card and 2 drives. If I was in the market for a new portable today, this is probably what I would get.

You could still go with an all in one PC or a PC & tablet combo because I don't think you'll ever be using the "power" while mobile.

I think u're highly overestimating the hardware in the Blade. Get an Asus ROG model that fits in your budget, the price/performance ratio is waaaay better.
