I want to giveaway my extra copies of Space Rangers, but it has disappeared from the list. It has also disappeared from the Steam Store, but the forums are still there. No closed giveaways are showing up when I search SG either, but that could be SG weirdness, haha.

I could post the keys here (it's a bundle game; it doesn't have contributor value either way), but then only ninjas will get them. I'm old and slow, so I'm not a fan of ninjas.

I'm open to suggestions.

Strange predicament. I've tossed some keys to the ninjas but only got thanks back for one of them so that's no longer my route either. Maybe a support ticket?

Yeah, ninjas have no appreciation.

I don't want to burden support unnecessarily. They've got enough to deal with already. I'd give keys to ninjas before that.

The worst with ninjas is that usually they don't even care what they take. So I'd rather give away even bundle keys via SteamGifts, like I do now.

It's no longer on Steam, hopefully receiving an HD update like Zombie Driver and will hopefully return shortly.

Keys still activate it fine, just not available for purchase and thus, not available on the giveaway list.

I could, but then only the first solver gets it. It's not as bad as ninjas, but it's not great.

It's a dilemma.

No, no, burden support. If a game's vanished, we want to know. If it's not on Steam any more, it disappears and we have to manually add it to our servers. Make a ticket and cg will add it back to the list ASAP.

how long does this usually take?

It depends on how busy cg is, but anywhere from a day to a week is the usual. I'll link him to the ticket when I see him come online.

I'm sure you know about this, but if not, there is a thread that's maintained on the Steam forum regarding removed games.

(I've never seen the steamgames.com domain before, despite them owning it since 2004)

LMAO! Check the whois before posting such ridiculous accusations. You should receive a suspension for accusing me of such bullshit.

For those who are afraid of the interwebz!

Do those look familiar at all? It's probably because they're owned by the same company!

defensive much?

I was asking if it was a phised site, It's suspicious because I know that I'm logged currently with SPUF but when I tried your link I was not logged in.

Indeed I am being defensive by giving you links that you should have searched yourself before accusing me of anything. I would hope that someone who knows enough to be aware of phishing should also now how to check and verify it.

Calling someone out is reason for suspension and I was replying to a member of support, just saying.

That's how cookies work: they apply only to one domain, even if the site is the same. Sometimes even the presence or lack of the www. prefix is enough to not be logged in.

You can change it to steampowered and it still works, and in fact both domains resolve to the same IP address.

q00u belatedly realizes Blairhexor is trying to high-five him. By the time q00u raises his hand, Blairhexor has already moved on. q00u is left holding his hand in the air as Blairhexor walks away.

q00u pretends he was swatting a fly, and puts his hands in his pockets.
