Welcome to SG! A couple of quick pointers:
- If you're not already using it, Enhanced Steam adds a lot of great features to the Steam website for your browser, especially being able to follow a Steam profile back to Steamgifts (wonderfully useful if you plan on doing any trading and want to check for an impostor).
- Steamgifts ++ adds a lot of useful additional features for Steamgifts. Although its not mandatory, a lot of people find it very useful (especially endless scrolling).
- Creating a Wishlist on Steam will import it to SG. This is a great way to quickly check and see if anyone is giving away specific games. All you'll have to do is click the Wishlist category on the left and it filters it for you. Plus, having a wishlist makes it easier for people to see what you want, in case someone has an extra key and likes the cut of your jib. I know I've both sent and received wishlist games in that manner.
