Ever bought a game for nostagic purposes...

...and it sucks?
A few months ago I had a spending spree on GOG to revisit my youth, and honestly, some of the games sucked.
I don't know if it's because i'm used to better graphics and more in depth story lines, or just that I have an awful memory but I was disappointed.

I bought Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 and it made me realize how much I love sandbox mode in RCT3 despite its shortcomings.

By the way if anybody has a makeshift "sandbox mode" I can use for RCT2 I'm all ears.

Not really for nostalgic purposes as much as "now that I don't pirate anymore, I really should buy at least some of those games I used to spend a lot of time with"

Ocarina of Time is the first game that springs to mind. Loved it as a child, and then I got it about two years ago and realized the whole thing was downright awful.
