That's probably why he mentioned instant giveaway. An other option might be the creation of some "steamgifts.com-wishlist" which, upon modification, excludes the user from any running giveaways on the games he/she added to his/her wishlist. Just thinking.
Edit: This 'new' wishlist is obviously best limited to a very small number (5?) of games.

Needs some testing and enough anti-abuse measures, but the idea in itself is clearly good. I hope they try this out.

Suddenly, people added the whole steam game library into their wishlists.

Easily fixed by limiting the relevant wishlist to the user's top x, where x is a number, or by working with a separate wishlist on this site, as I mentioned earlier, no?

That's what I think. And it was enough important reason for me. If (example) nuclear dawn was region-restricted in some countries and SFK made so many 'wishlist' giveaways for it - it would be unjust.
Only way such system can be added to the site is separate SG Wishlist. That is (IMO) the only way it could work.

Hello,
I'd like to have an option of creating a giveaway for people that have the game in their wishlist. It would work like this:
1) it would be an option at giveaway creation - either timed giveaway (as it is now) or instant
2) the system would search for all the people that have the game on their wishlist and select one person randomly
There is some potential for abuse here, so one of the things below would have to be done:
1) a limit on the number of games in the wishlist
or
2) making the position of the game on the wishlist important - the people having the game in the first position in the wishlist would be selected first
There's also the question of points. Such giveaways might have to bypass the point system altogether.
The reason for this feature is giving the game to people that really want it.
I wonder if anyone would find this feature useful?
Edit: silly question, but how can I do single line breaks? If I do one Enter, it is removed. Two Enters aren't. Strange.
