Awesome, but what I'm missing is the direct link to each game's steam page (if there is any).

I´ve planed already to add Steam (/Greenlight) and Desura links to the game detail pages. Until now, there are already the Developer/Publisher Links for each game - if available! Thank you for the suggestion!

Take a look. Just added the direct links for the new Bundles Stars Games and the WB-Bundle by Humble Bundle! Just follow the Links with title "Profile »" - You find Steam, Greenlight & Desura links!

Small suggestions, if I may:

  • the 30 active bundles list in the header. sort it from lowest time to highest time (and maybe apply some different warning styles to them: eg. redish for < 24h, yellowish for > 1 day < 3 days, normal for the rest)
  • add this sorting by the starting letter to a sort of pagination and put it on the top of your content so someone can search for the game sorted by letters easily, not going through all of them for a game starting with Z (for the ones not knowing about ctrl+F)
  • display the games directly with the entire bundle (maybe with a timer to know the time remaining until expiring). doing this I think you can remove the header with the active bundles. or change it to display the active bundles that started recently.
  • highlight new additions to the list. or put them at the top, for a couple of days. something like that.
  • remove the line that appears when scrolling down... it's annoying :D

Hope you find something useful from what I wrote above!

  1. The list next to the "30 active bundles" button is not sorted. In this list you find the New and the most interesting Bundles.
If you click the "30 active bundles" Button you are on the "Bundle Countdown" Page. Her you find all Bundles ordered by Ending-Time!
Look like i have to think about this again :D

  2. Maybe Filtering is better. Filter by DRM. "Show ONLY Steam|Desura|DRM-Free Games"

  3. I thought about this already, but i think, this will make the list unreadable.
There are also games available in more than one Bundle at the moment! (Like Rhythm Destruction in Indie Royale´s The Debut 6 Bundle and the Flying Moonrise Bundle)

  4. I think about hilighing. Somehing like a superscript [NEW] next to the games name for 12 hours!

  5. The line with the Ad? :D You can click the close button or somewher next to the Layer, and the layer will not visible for your session! ;-)

Thank you for your ideas!

  1. most users nowadays and especially for this kind of site are (I think) only going for what content is on the first page and not clicking more stuff, that's why I emphasized a better content organization overall.

  2. Filtering by DRM, by Names, by Game Types (RTS, FPS, etc), by whatever data you can pull.

  3. For the games available in multiple bundles, you could display near them icons or links for the other bundles that include them.

  4. :>

  5. Thanks. :D

Hope you're having fun doing this! It'll probably be appreciated after a while. :)

Yet all those bundle lists are missing an icon for steam cards which would be very useful for steam cards hunters, and i have checked a lot of list

Where can i find this information (with/without cards)? On the Steam Detail Page?

Found: There is a Feature-Table Row with the word "Steam-Sammelkarten" on the Steam Page example:

Well duh mate ... but imagine a few bundles with more than 10 games each and a crappy Internet connection i have to check the steam page for all games witch is a pain in the .... thats why i said that it would be usefull

I thought about that a litle bit, but i don´t add the steam cards info by now. This is to much affort because only some people interested in this. This don´t say, that i dont like the idea. But it´s already work to track all the steam, greenlight and desura links :D

But i think, the list is already a good starting point, if you search for the steam cards informations.

For "A.R.E.S. Extinction Agenda" i´ve added a comment "With Steam Trading Cards" on the games detail page ...

IMO it would be more comfortable if bandles from one site will place in one folder (like bundle stars). Also to show the titles of the games and bundle prices on the main screen.

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

It´s not so easy to find the prices for some of the bundles. For example the Indie Royale prices are variable and also the BTA prices for Humble Bundle / Indie Gala change often. Also the Fixed prices of Bundle Stars change every time!

I already think about adding a sign for "Pay what you want" / "Fixed Price" Bundles.

So basically a site for referral links ? Just noticed the link was:

http://www.lazyguysstudio.com/bundle/?source=epicbundle

Isn't advertising banned on here ?

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

We put the "?source=epicbundle" parameter on every bundle link only for info reason (other bundle tracker pages like igb or indiekings do this too, btw)
We have also some affiliate links, but most of all these are Mac (Software) Bundles. Nearly 100% of the games bundles arn´t affiliate links!

Nice. AFAIK, this is the first site with an alphabetical list of games. I never click on a link from these types of sites anyway, have all bundle sites bookmarked.
