the worst kind of loneliness has to be when you are surrounded by people that care about you and you have fun with but you still... deep inside, feel utterly and crushingly lonely

That persistent sense of disconnection is really rough.
It's also strange in its own little way, when we realise that people are dealing with that same thing all across the world right now, albeit hidden away behind either doors or practiced smiles. It seems like that should be a comfort but it's hard to grasp the notion that this is a normal human thing.
I'm just a random filler NPC in the big game that is your life, but if I can offer you any remotely helpful dialogue, it would have to be : "Perfection is a myth, you're only human. Forgive yourself for daring to have emotions. Even if you think they don't make sense, the fact that you feel those emotions are proof that they're real and worth accepting as valid."
Sorry to go ham on you, but sometimes Captain Obvious really does do something remotely useful ;P
