I've only played FNAF so far but I can say that the thrill only lasted for about 20-30 minutes. After that, the game got really repetitive and boring and I just didn't find it scary anymore. Can't say the same for Isolation but I'm pretty sure there's more to that game than just cheap jump scares.

well I only played FNAF 2 and I watched gameplay of Alien Isolation and in my opinion their both great but Alien Isolation is a bit better because it gives you about 14 hours of gameplay where FNAF 2/1 gives you maybe 30 minutes - 1 hour depending how well you do of gameplay and Alien Isolation you never know whats coming next everythings a mystery anything can happen and FNAF 1/2 it takes a bit to know what to do and things could get predictable.

FNAF looks like those PS1 FMV horror games. I played some and to this day, they still scare me.
I hope it's like those. If not then Alien: Isolation since lonely ship corridors and space stations offer a really dark atmosphere.
Just like in the original Dead Space.

FNAF is a screensaver with constant jumpscares, making the same exact sound. You remember when on youtube appeared all those videos with guys being pranked by the maze game, and suddenly a loud scream and a scary picture appeared? Why don't people who like FNAF play this? It's the exact same thing.
A:I is a beautifully created homage to the original Alien movie, a great stealth game with perfect atospehere, awesome tense moments and a campaign that is approx. 30x longer than FNAF.
You could as well compare a Ferrari 458 to a wooden tricycle. There is no competition to be had.

So, I bought Alien: Isolation today and like it so far. I'm not huge on horror games, but I remember playing both FNAF games when they first came out. So it made me think. Both are very popular, and although they have traits that make them harder to compare, which one of the two do you think is the superior horror game?
Please don't argue, I'm just curious and looking for opinions.
