Grim Dawn impressions

When i first saw this on kickstarter i really liked it.Plus the fact that you can play it online or in LAN with friends sounds awesome.It kinda took me back when i used to play long nights on sacred 1 or diablo 2 with friends.So what do you guys think?

Also:What do you think of games that have lan?I often organized Lan parties with friends,and even tough my internet can handle just fine us playing some online only game,we really like better games that have LAN.Do you think online only games took away a bit of the charm of getting together with friends in the same room with unhealthy food and a lot of curse words?
I used to make lan parties really often,but nowadays it's easier to just meet up on steam and play.And even tough playing online is still fun,it's just not the same.

It's the spiritual successor to Titan Quest, from the same guys that created Titan Quest. It's already magnificent and I backed this the instant it hit Kickstarter <3

Doesn't look too bad actually. If it manages to stand up to Diablo II, I'll throw myself at it.

The game looks nice =)

I hope their netcode will be better than the one created by the Magicka devs.
I'm cursing everytime when I try to play multiplayer, no matter if it's me or someone else hosting.
Currently waiting for the release of F2P Akaneiro, that's supposed to have Multiplayer, too.

Btw: We'll have a LAN party in March, I'm open to game suggestion. My fav would be C&C Zero Hour, but the others aren't that much into RTS.

I whole hearthedly agree about magicka.The only way to play that was on lan,otherwise we would drop out of the game every 1-2 chapters.

For lan games depends on how many you are.Split second is really really fun and crazy to play(max 4 players).C&c ZH,or Red alert 3 are fun aswell(Sidenote:the coop for Ra3 was really good,didn;t expect that!),another very good RTS is settlers 7.

Spec ops the line has a very good multiplayer,even tough it is a 3rd person shooter.
Unreal tournament 3 is fun too.
Enemy territory quake wars.

Left for dead is very fun and a good coop(max 4 players),Borderlands is a good coop.
Terraria is really good too,with some good mods it revives whole again.

Most of the others are online unfortunately :( some that we play are:
Payday the heist,dungeon defenders(really nice!),far cry 3(too short unfortunately :( )

Also a few weeks ago we had a retro lan party where we played only old games.We had duke nukem 3d,diablo 2,sacred 1,quake III arena,atomic bomberman,heroes of might and magic 3,worms world party,warcraft 3.It was so soo much fun!
