Blech, this is something i need to do. Am sure there are lot of perma-banned people i can remove. Also kinda noticed a few people that I had blacklisted have redeemed themselves from whatever infraction that caused me to blacklist em in the first place.

Blacklist anyone you feel like blacklisting. There are no rules on SG for who is a "blacklist-worthy" offender. Just use it as a means of semi-controlling who you give your games away to. If there's someone out there who you feel doesn't deserve to win a game you've decided to giveaway... there's an option to exclude him/her.

I think most people are from the "say nothing to be safe" school now, i recently did 2 give aways where I asked for some minor participation and from the several hundred entries, about 6 participated.
It kind of takes the wind out of the sails of wanting to bother with another one for a while for sure.

Why haven't you make a private GA so that just the ones who read your thread can enter it and bump the thread afterwards?
It's no surprise that the most people that enter public GAs don't read the description. I don't read descriptions of public giveaways too to be honest.

Good point. Made it public in hoping to get more attention for the celebration-thread. But good point even though I do not agree, if there is a description, no matter being it a public GA, I think it's meant to be read (at least).

Yeah but many of the people here are using scripts that let you enter GAs directly from the GA list without viewing the GA itself. So they can't even see if there is a description.

I've encountered people that have blacklisted me for some f*ing reason, and it's funny, because most of them don't even know why. They don't have like a system (For exemple: I only Block scammers on steam, not some1 that I don't want to talk with). And when I go check the giveaways that they make, it's usually games that nobody wants, or they make giveaways for just a small group of people, so, I was probably blacklisted for something I said in a topic, probably long time ago because I barely post something on steamgifts. So to be honest, these attention w***es that make a topic from time to time talking about their blacklist like it's something very important, I suggest them to add me to that list for them to see if I really care about it. (huhu im going to miss some big giveawayssssss).

... but maybe I won't. Maybe tomorrow I will feel the sun again and the sorrow will be gone and my BL will remain on 0. And I say sorrow, I say sadness because this feeling is not produced by anger. Over 100 entries on a GA and just a pair of user took the time to leave a bump on the thread I asked.
I guess some people just don't know what a little courtesy or being part of a community means.
