(To All Mods: PLEASE if you don't agree with this thread message me, and i will remove it ASAP)

okay now for everyone else thats Reading this.... Basically i was thinking this in my head all day. ( ya i know Not much to this question) but like the Title Says, what are your 3 favorite steam games that you own, and why ( they could be from, Free to play games, or something like amenisa. i really don't care)

mine are..

1) Dc Universe Online- Well because i got to create my own character and have my own powers, ( yes i am normally Marvel fan but anyways) DC is Still fun to play.

2) Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army- its fun to play co-op, and (in a way ) kinda scary when your playing it by yourself at night. ( anyone wanna play for fun, just add me)

3) The Sanctum series- i Honestly haven't played it to much of it but it has proved to be a fun game. ( i only have sanctum, and i only have the Sanctum 2 demo, i played the demo before i got sanctum 1)

I first played Binding of Isaac way back when it was just a flash game, and I have it now on Steam. It's fun and I think its cost is reasonable, but with stuff like DayZ, Chivalry, and War Thunder to play with friends, it doesn't stand a chance.

Horrid Henry is based on a hit book series, some of the best books I have ever read in my life. As a lifelong fan, it was imperative that I played the game as well.
Secret of the Magic Crystals has such a long legacy in the SG world, rivaling the likes of Fortix. You just can't understand the broniness unless you are Stronger than a Horse
Revelations 2012 is the depiction of life as if the world had ended in 2012. The powerful imagery is so evocative it's like tripping on LSD. It is the epitome of 4 player FPS coops, if you've played Left 4 Dead or Payday, you absolutely HAVE TO play this one

Ys Origin
Ys: The Oath in Felghana
Ys I&II Chronicles+

What can I say, I'm an Ys fangirl and the only thing that is going to top Ys Origin in my list is if Ys Seven or Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky comes to Steam. The latter is very likely, the former not so much.

Hey, I have no problem admitting that I love all Falcom games, though my favorites aren't on Steam yet. Ys Origin is actually the game that caused me to sign up for Steam in the first place. I just hope the Legend of Heroes games come to Steam eventually so more people can experience their sheer awesome.

1) Desura
2) Origin
3) Google Chrome

Because I realize I could use the steam overlay while playing games with all three applications

Joke aside, here are my top three.

1) Tomb Raider
2) Bioshock
3) Spec Ops: The Line

Because I like myself a cinematic, gripping storyline tied to solid gameplay. I know Bioshock wasn't cinematic, but the game really made me think about certain themes, like freedom. Spec Ops had me wondering who was right in the game. And Tomb Raider...well i had always been a Tomb Raider fan since The Last Revelation, so watching Lara grow as a person in the new game was more meaningful to me. All three of them were emotional.

1)Total war: Shogun 2
.
Because it has profound atmosphere of medieval Japan, awesome graphics and stunning gameplay which features both turn-based strategy and real-time battles. Multiplayer is fun too.
2)Terraria
Little game which actually has huge possibilities and plenty of things to do
3)TF2
Don't play it anymore yet it helped me to earn a lot of hats which I successfully turned into games and that's cool :D

  1. Borderlands 2, of course.
  2. Portal 2.
  3. I'd say it's a tie between Darksiders 2 and The Binding of Isaac.
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Sorry, forgot to add why.

  1. Borderlands 2. I've always loved RPGs and shooters, and the perfect combination of both is like my dream game. Borderlands 2 has everything (or almost everything) I love in a game. And don't be fooled by the "60 hours played", when I bought it I transfered my old save files from the borrowed copy I had :P

  2. Portal 2. Do I need to say more?

  3. The main reason why Darksiders 2 shows up here, is because it's the whole concept and story of the original, with some strong RPG elements added. It has its faults, yeah, but to me it was a beautiful game, and I really enjoyed playing it. And I see myself playing it again in the future.
And about The Binding of Isaac, all I can say is, infinite replayability and infinite fun. You gotta try it to understand it. It's really cheap and you won't regret it.

Just replying here because I see everything fit just like my taste. I only played Darksiders, not the second title, but the binding of isaac is great too. I just wish it had proper gamepad support.

It's a sad story for me...
Because, I can't buy the top game on my list any more.
That one is Blur and it was delisted a few months ago (damn you Activision).
I never had the chance to pull the trigger since I was hoping for a sale... oh well...
So the list goes like that:

1) Blur (Delisted - I don't have it)
2) Death Rally (Don't ask... I'm hooked up with this game since its DOS days)
3) The Walking Dead

I love it for several reasons, most importantly because I'm thrilled by the characters and the story, plus I enjoy playing point n click adventure games in general.

Usually it's not an easy task for me to choose, but in this case it's an easy one choice.
My favorite character is Clementine, because she is adorable, smart, she is having a hard time away from her parents, but then again she is able to manage with all these terrible things happening around her and so on. (I could write an essay about her haha).

2 - Portal 2; this game is not only one of the best concepts out there, also have a great story, great characters, and such an interesting background story, 9.5 / 10 :) Wheatley ftw

3 - Terraria; such a great game to hang out with friends for hours and hours :) its boring to play alone, but anyway, still quite a nice game

For me, Bastion is the best game I've played. The story, gameplay and narrative just come together and create a really excellent experience.

Braid is an extremely well-made puzzle game, with challenging level design and very interesting mechanics. Definitely worth playing if you have even the slightest interest in puzzle games.

Can't choose a winner between Fallout 3 and New Vegas because they are so similar, but different in their own ways. They are both excellent games, both very much worth playing.

Borderlands 2, just bought a week ago but it's even more addicting than 1 and i love it.

Sanctum / Sanctum 2 is fun!

it's hard for me to pick JUST 3, so I'm going to pick 5, and even these change often depending on my mood etc, so it's tentative at best

  1. Portal franchise - great sense of humor, great voice acting/story telling, and most importantly I really love puzzle games to begin with, but a game that has fun puzzling as well as a good action/adventure feel to it is just too good to be true

  2. Mass Effect franchise (well 1 & 2 since this is steam only) - i really like sci-fi and I really like immersive sci-fi games, I know some people don't like it for whatever reasons (or at least the second two titles) but I really liked it, even #3 I liked because I felt like the story was pretty good overall, and I don't think there is any other game out there that has made me feel attached to some of the characters (<3 tali, thane...legion...joker...edi...etc. etc.)

  3. Quantum Conundrum - brings back my child hood, love the adventurous feel of it + the cartoony graphics, good sense of humor and I like it for the same reasons I like portal

  4. Waking Mars - I really like science fiction or anything related to space/astronomy even if it's not fiction, this game is all about exploration and finding life where you wouldn't expect it, really awesome for that reason, also I liked the voice acting and the story/characters--currently on sale this week!

  5. Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes - love everything about this game, melds strategy with match3 puzzling flawlessly, some of the best art i've seen in a video game, very lovely all around with lots of details paid to aesthetics in general, also really liked the characters and the story was fun to follow
