A bundle of love. We can act to deal with the consequences of the earthquake and tsunami… We cannot wish that the seas dry up, that the waves grow still, that the tectonic plates cease to exist... It leaves us with compassion as the work we will never finish. ―Rebecca Solnit

Hurricanes in the Caribbean and in Texas. Wildfires in California. Earthquakes in Mexico. In the wake of multiple large-scale natural disasters and the increasing effects of climate change, we humbly recognize our responsibility to the global community. Alongside developers and creators, we are bundling a care package of much-needed funds for emergency relief.

This special one-week bundle features over $385 in amazing games for just $30. 100% of your payments will be split equally between Direct Relief, the American Red Cross, GlobalGiving, Save the Children, and Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). Humble Bundle will proudly match the first $300,000 raised.

☠ - Game was free at some time and does not grant any CV if given away.
⚠ - Limited Availability for: Darkest Dungeon, Move or Die

Chart created with Lex's SG Chart Maker

Retail:

  • $385.72

CV:

  • 129.52 (with Machinarium base game giveaways) / 133.01 (with Machinarium Soundtraack giveaways)

Machinarium CE cannot be added to the available games to be given away. In order to maximize your CV, you could theoretically make a giveaway of the Machinarium Soundtrack (instead of the base game) for the key received in this bundle (since it activates both), but that would mean restricting the giveaway to people that already own the base game. For more info, check this section of comments.

Wondering what games you already own from this bundle? There's an extension/UserScript for that! It's called the RaChart™ Enhancer!

This script enhances the charts by showing you which games you already own from the ones in it. If you own it, the row will be highlighted with a green color.

Thanks to luckz for helping with the poll answers!

I care, I buy.
This costs $30, I'd like to keep mine.
I don't care, I don't buy.
Already got those, perhaps for more than $30 though...
"27 items"? I won't even play that many games in my life.

Machinarium Collector's Edition should be this link:

Hey SickTeddyBear, I really wish there was a way to link to both the bundle and the sub on the same column. But as we previously talked about this, the RaChart doesn't support linking both. I have to choose one of them and in my opinion it's better to link to the sub since it's more reliable than the bundle. The bundles are rather relative: they are temporary, their contents can be modified by Steam at any point in time and they are not available to all countries due to regional price differences. In my opinion, linking to the sub (even if it doesn't have a store page) is more relevant for people that might visit this thread in a few years, since subs are unlikely to change. Even if they are removed, one can still find them on SteamDB based on the SubId.

For now, I added the link to the bundle in the reviews column. Having a separate column only for this would also be silly, since it would have only 1 entry for the whole chart.

I am open to ideas on how to arrange these things better so that everyone is happy with their charts.

Because the sub isn't available on the store, it's not on SG. So you can't actually gift it.
Making the max CV from this bundle $133.

Removed packages or games can always be manually added by staff, if they're informed of the need via an Add Game to List or Other ticket, so that theoretically shouldn't be an issue.

Good point, should do some tickets when making bundle threads.
The listed CV I usually feel is 'for an ideal world', i.e. assuming everything reasonable is done by the GA creator and SG staff.

Made one now, anyway.

A small follow-up on this matter:
it seems that it's not possible to add Machinarium CE to the giveaway list, according to this answer from the SG staff.

Which means that the max CV value you can obtain is indeed by making a giveaway of the Soundrack (since this gives full CV) with the key received from the bundle, as stated here. However, this limits the giveaway to people who have the base game already.

Oh, it's a "+" listing. Yeah, I recall those can't be added- I wasn't aware that was what was being discussed, I apologize for my previous misinformation. Thank you for the clarification, shakti. :)

Something worth noting about your latter point, though-
Staff will, by request, change a giveaway listing while the giveaway is active (to work around situations where base game / DLC entry is locked out due to Steam listing issues). That means you can get staff to agree to a change, post the base game, then message them when you want the giveaway changed to the correct listing.
As winners'll still get what was promised in either version of the listing, you don't even have to involve the entrants in this (though if the giveaway ends before the change, staff may require the winner to leave a comment confirming they did in fact receive the appropriate version of the game before they go through with the change). This not only works to allow only people who don't have the base game to enter for collections, but by making the change early enough before the giveaway's end time, you can actually leave enough time for people to enter for either the base game or DLC, if desired.

luckz opened a ticket for adding Machinarium Collector's Edition to the giveaway list.
In the meantime, I added separate CVs for Machinarium base game and Machinarium Collector's Edition.
But I am not sure how you got to $133, according to my calculations it's $130. Am I missing something?

Starbound $14.99
Darkest Dungeon $24.99
Minecraft: Story Mode $24.99
Stardew Valley $2.25
Move or Die $2.25
Duck Game $1.95
Her Story $0.90
She Remembered Caterpillars $11.99
Stronghold Legends $2.25
DreadOut $2.25
Pony Island $0.75
Mighty No. 9 $3.00
Adventures of Van Helsing $2.25
ARMA: Gold Edition $1.50
Grey Goo $4.50
Sorcerer King $2.25
Shadowrun Returns $2.25
Kholat $3.00
Primal Carnage $0.00
Lakeview Cabin $1.50
The Park $12.99
Magicka $1.50
Jump Stars $1.50
Fearless Fantasy $0.00
No Time To Explain $2.25
Psychonauts $0.00

Machinarium Collector's Edition, the soundtrack is unbundled, so if you gifted it that way it'd be $4.99. Total $133.01
Or a total of $129.52 if you count Machinarium as $1.50

Comment has been collapsed.

You can't gift the Soundtrack separately, since it's 1 key for Machinarium CE (according to
this).
Unless you specifically gift Machinarium CE as the Soundtrack edition, but in this case only people who have the base game would have access to your giveaway.
Thank you for your reply but in any case, my suggestion would be to wait a bit until Machinarium CE will be added to the list. This way, you can get full CV for it and no one is excluded from the giveaway (apart from the giveaway rules you set, ofc).

The sub that's sold here sure is, but I guess setting prices (CV) manually is only done on special occasions?
Looks like it's never been sold on the store together, only separately (9.99 + 4.99) or as part of a Amanita Collection..

The current approach only benefits RaChart users, and detriments everyone (including RaChart users) interested in obtaining any sort of purchasing information from the link. A correction to the RaChart script would be the best option here.

I can't see there being any benefit in providing broken links

It's not a broken link, it's a package that will appear owned to RaChart customers who own exactly that one package. In a higher-effort world one might want to indent the chart at this stage and list all the apps inside the package, as is sometimes done in more complex situations, but there's only so much you can do while still having the column titles above matching.
Packages can indeed be removed from the store, but they are not removed from Steam, and thus in 100 years after the next best nuclear war they will still appear as owned.

Of course the store bundle, the base app page, or the SteamDB page describing the sub are all valid and useful pieces of extra information to link to - suggestions how to format that in regards to the columns layout are always appreciated.

With most newer games, developers only generate keys for the packages that are also sold on the store, so bundle purchasers and store purchasers usually™ get the same packges, and charts happily light up in colours for all. (In case younger readers wonder - in old times you needed separate packages for Steam Store vs Steam keys.)

[EDIT: the comment I replied to said other things than it does now]

Assuming https://github.com/Sighery/RaChart/pull/4 is accepted, what information will you want covered for which cases? A flow chart or diagram would be great.
I was thinking if it isn't on the store, but has a matching bundle or similar sub; otherwise app; and maybe linking SteamDB too for everything that isn't on the store?

Dunno if, with all these potential links, it's useful to have a shorthand, i.e. [B] for bundle, [DB] for SteamDB, [S] for sub on the store, [A] for app without extra DLCs, or I don't even know.

ikr... I own 12 of them myself....
6 are on my wishlist (that I actually want).
If I buy the bundle, 3 I won't activate.. just don't want them.
Will end up gifting over 1/2 this bundle if I get it...

I like the charity choices though. I normally give to 2 of them.

Still worth it (for me), but I'll wait a few days to see how I feel about it later.

Don't wait too long though, since Darkest Dungeon and Move or Die have limited availability.

(I pretty much only want Starbound, Caterpillars, and maybe Minecraft, own most, and even then with the charity aspect I think the price is fine, but -- I can't afford it anymore after they suckered me into the yearly monthly just before the IGN announcement ;> )

The value of the game is incredibly high - around $4 to $5 in group buy, and the host keep it in most cases. Outside group buy, I guess its value is even higher, probably around $8 to $10. Normal offer with a few bundled games don't cut it.

Well, for some people it sweetens the deal a lot. Although I'm quite short on cash I almost always pay more than required because of this. And since I know many gamers don't care about charity at all and only pay the developers, I don't feel bad about giving the lion's share or even the whole sum to charity.
